The two bedroom apartment was huge and very clean. Giant Living room. Spacious kitchen. Included laundry machine. Our unit had rooftop deck. Beautiful sunrises. Nice bakeries next door and short walk to several grocery stores. Just outside of the hustle and bustle of city center.
Eric Vokel at Calle San Bernardo is a very good option to stay in Madrid. Only one block from Noviciado station metrô and walking distance of many sightseeing locations in Madrid. Plenty of space, the duplex apartment has everything we need in a kitchen. Good towels, very good cleaning services and easy to do a check inn, even late of night. I really recommend it to stay in Madrid.
We were in an apartment on the top floor with three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite) and 3 lovely roof top balconies. Positioned 2 doors from a fresh bakers and small supermarket, which had everything you would need for a weekend stay. The location is great for sightseeing, it is a few minutes walk from the main high street where all the cinemas/theatres, bus routes and shops are. Also very close to a subway for transport across the city, and the walk to the Royal Palace is not far and well worth seeing. Reception staff very helpful and arranged taxi to and from the airport. Would stay here again.
This hotel has a great location and is excellent value. There were four of us in the apartment but could of easily got another people in there. It was open plan very comfortable and a lovely roof terrace to take in the views. I don't have any negative's it was an excellent apartment.
It was a family trip with 8 persons including 4-yr old child. We booked two 2-bed 2-bath apartments. They were very spacious, especially the unit at the front of the building. Clean, well-equipped, convenient to have a microwave, fridge, stove and laundry in the unit. Location was great too. Staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this esp for families with kids!
We booked 4 apartments 2 had an outside terrace which is definitely worth paying a little extra for, all very spacious, modern, clean and comfy. Close to a metro stop and a five minute walk to Gran Via. There is an excellent cafe next door for breakfast, coffee and pastry €2. Front door is locked in the evening and accessed with an easy door code which adds to security as it's a busy street on weekend evenings. Only niggles - the receptionist was not very efficient at check in. The fire alarm was triggered at 7am so lots of people stood on the street in pj's, there were no staff present and no one available to speak to on the emergency phone! A bit worrying if there had been a fire! In the end after 30mins of waiting we all gave up and went back in only because we had early flights to catch. This hasn't put me off though and I would stay here again.
My friends and I stayed there for a week. We were impressed by the spacious apartment, it's very modern and clean. The location is great, only one block from a Metro station. There are plenty restaurants in the area. The front desk staff were very helpful. Overall we had a great time, would totally recommend it to everyone we know, of course I would love to stay there again if I go to Madrid.
Stayed in the Eric Vokel apartment's 5 minutes walk to Grand Via . apartment's very modern but air conditioning set at 18 degrees . Too warm although it was 40 degrees during the day . visited the bernabeau stadium and the royal palace during our stay . Would recommend both trips to anybody staying in Madrid for a break .All in all a very enjoyable 3 days but bring the sun cream as it's extremely hot during the day .Would definitely stay in the apartment again. We stayed in apartment 41 which has it's own rooftop terrace. A nice little bonus.
Perfect apartment to meet our needs. Was clean, well presented and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms aswell as a living area and kitchen which was perfect for three of us. Although just off the main area, it is a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the city. Also is nearby two supermarkets. Highly recommend!
Hotel was very nice and roomy. Apartment was very clean and well maintained, it looked like it was newly remodeled. Staff was friendly and helped when needed. Only down side for me was the bed linens and pillows were not very comfy and the tv was blocked on many channels and no one had the passcode. But this was a minor detail, the place was good and I recommend it.
