The hotel is very close to the city center and to the sea (5 min walk from the White Tower). Some rooms have a stunning view over the Eptapyrgio Fortress and the Trigoniou Tower, which increases a lot the value of the hotel. However, rooms are small, out-dated and pretty ugly. The staff at the reception is not very "friendly" and not very inclined to talk. Breakfasts offer a good selection of salty food, but sweet food options are quite limited. I am not sure I will come back again.

I booked a room at the ABC last minute. From the first moment, the staff was generous and considerate. They allowed me to enter the room in the morning rather than at check in time. This approach continued to characterize staff behavior which was invariably welcoming and generous. I found the room comfortable and the breakfast, though not fancy, was very good and the staff ready to accommodate wishes such as hot milk for coffee! I liked the hotel so much, that I returned there my last day in Thessaloniki for breakfast.

Very acceptable hotel for a short stay, in our case one night. 10 minutes walk from the bus that takes you to the airport and right on the main street which means it's noisy if you open the window but perfectly fine for us. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable. Not sure why people would complain at this price. The Wi-Fi was free and the shower was hot. We would stay again. Yes it is a little tatty around the edges but have sympathy for a country that is unsteady on its feet after the crisis.

The hotel is next top the exhibition center, so if you are there for visiting or exhibitin, you are in the right place. The check in is very fast, you will have to use the elevators for the up floors, on of teh elevators is extremely small, just for two, and it will not be easy for you to breath in there, so take the other one. The breakfast is not very reach, and they do not allow you to take your coffe in a plastic cup, you have to pay for it. If you open the terrasse door, it will be very noisy, but the hotel is on a main street, so nothing wrong. The free internet is ok. The building itself is very old, and need some repairs, the bathroom was so small that i crushed my head several times, but is acceptable.

Very clean and comfortable room (loved the bed with soft white linens,) delicious authentic bountiful breakfast, professional and helpful staff (very impressed with Periclius's service who was able to accommodate me at the last minute for a reasonable price), fantastic location close to the seaside promenade, historic attractions, shops, internet was not a problem - can't wait for my next visit there.

The room was clean, friendly staff and great location near to Univercity and the international exhibition. The bus stop from the Makedonia Airport to the hotel is 5-7 minutes walking away. You can find everything near to you: supermarket, cafe, shops fast food,sweets...e.t.c. The only bad is it hasn't free wifi at the rooms. You have to pay it

We stayed at the ABC Hotel on a work trip, and we are so happy that we did. They were able to provide a very good rate for us. We took 3 single rooms, and they put us on the same floor, in consecutive rooms, so it was easy to organise our work. The breakfast was amazing, with typical Greek dishes (the yoghurt was delicious!), as well as cereals and hot food. We got wi-fi codes for our rooms, and they worked, but you need to know that they are for one device only, so if you hook in with your cell phone first, you can't use it on your laptop. However, we solved that issue by working together in the cafe. The wifi in the cafe and lobby area is free, and fast. The rooms were warm and comfortable, with plenty of space (lots of drawers and wardrobe space, with storage for suitcase above wardrobe.) The bathroom was adequate, and we know that they are currently working on upgrading the bathrooms. The cleaning staff is efficient and everything was very clean. I had a problem in my bathroom on the first night. I informed the desk staff as we left for dinner, and when we came back 2 hours later, it had been fixed. The staff!! Wow. A very friendly, happy, and helpful group of people, who really made us feel at home during our stay. They supported us (a group of teachers) while we worked in the cafe, and always had a smile. We would really recommend this hotel, for that alone, but also the location, the price, and the breakfast.

Overall: Pros- Breakfast, staff, location Cons- Wifi, unrenewed rooms, no hotel parking I stayed there for 21 days. Breakfast was plenty and satisfying. The renewed rooms were spacious, but the bathroom was terrible and not renewed at all. It's expensive but couldn't be in a better location; close to the universities, 10 minutes away from the popular streets. Staff was very nice and always willing to help. Wifi was slow and it fortunately worked for me on the first floor, but it doesn't at higher floors.

Hotel location is ideal. Reception area is very small. The rooms needed updating and especially the bathroom. Out toilet was not working but as soon as we called the reception they send someone up immediately. Breakfast was plentiful.
