Hotel needs a lot of maintenance.. walls need to be resurfaced. Breakfast was bare bones but that's ok.

Thin dirty blankets on the beds. Overall just an old worn down hotel. Conveniently located close to the airport. No amenities and very slim breakfast options. Personel was friendly. Loud heater. This is a hotel to stay in if you are just passing by and need a quick rest.

Motel is run down. Badly needs repair. Dead insects on floor.

non smoking rooms all smelled like ashtrays along with hallways. couldn't get a refund when canceling reservations.

Air out in Motel and elevators. Carpets in hotel torn paint splattered. Pool not heated as advertized. Room wasnt ready at 3pm and asked for room to accomdate my mother in law who has parkinsons and end up not having the room or shower chair for us. Room had air n nice beds. Tv wasnt programed remote stuck when changed hannel. The phone didnt work and when rwplaced the phone didnt have any numbers or detail of what to dial for services. Asked for 2 extra towels cuz had 3 ppl in room and only 2 towels told to bring down to lobby dirty ones in order to get new ones. Not what i asked for and we shouldnt have to take dirty stuff to desk either. Experience not good.

There was some bugs in the comforter that bites me.

Room was not ready at time of check in. Wex were given the keys to our room and walked down to the room and opened the door and the bed was not made and dirty towels were still laying around. We went back to the front desk to tell them and 1 of the employees said the room wasn't even on the roster to be cleaned. It makes me wonder how clean the rooms really are. Breakfast was terrible. The waffle maker was dirty. We ended up going across the street to Burger King every morning we were there. We will not stay there again.

Room was very nice and up to date a lot of space, good breakfast s s great staff

We stayed here 8 years ago and it was under a different hotel name. Sketchy then and worse now! The room was not clean and smelled like body odor. I got woke up at 2 am and could not get back to sleep with all the slamming doors and yelling going on. I called the front desk and they stated they would check into it. But the activity continued. Planned to be there 2 nights but left and we are still trying to get the 2nd night refunded.

The room was nice, but to get to it, we had to walk through an unlit exterior hallway with standing water. The walkway floors were covered with gunk from several peeling layers of paint and nonskid coating. Grass was incut. Weeds growing through landscaping. Walls and doors were filthy. Elevator was stifling. No signs announced plans for renovation, although the room seemed newly redone and was quite nice.

My husband and I drove 16 hours straight from Central Texas to attend our daughter's graduation in nearby Mount Vernon. Having stayed at the Super 8 around the corner when she was a freshman, we thought that the Red Roof Inn nearby would be an upgrade. Not Exactly. There was no in-room coffee service, the 'free breakfast' consisted of biscuits, gravy waffles or muffins. No option of cereal, oatmeal, toast, etc. The juice offered was watered down to flavored water consistency, and the coffee offered was burnt and bitter. Although my husband requested that the room be cleaned on the 3rd night of our 4 night stay, we returned to find the bed linens simply sloppily made up, no fresh towels, no fresh linens whatsoever. Let us also note that whomever was staying in the room above us sounded like a herd of cattle on the verge of stampede. It took calling the front desk to get the cacophony to quiet. Come on, y'all. The Super 8 around the corner showed you up 4 years ago. It's time you caught up.

Good for the price. I just stayed there to sleep.

A good place to stay if you are on a budget. Clean and no frills. Staff is friendly. Breakfast could be a bit better. Would stay again.

For $50/night, it was perfectly fine. Apparently, they are doing renovations, so the halls were a bit rough. The rooms were nice and clean and better than expected for such a low rate. With that said, the furniture was nicked and dinged a bit. The placement of the elevator is a bit odd and doesn't give a great sense of security.

The toilet in the room would not stop running. The shower drain was clogged (80) and the water backed up in the tub while taking a shower. It took 15 mins. for it to drain. The floor in the room was never vaccumed. The curtains in the room were broke and would not open and close properly. The emergency doors in the foyers had broken plastic handle covers. The stair treads in stairways were crumbling and chipped. The Motel hallways were very untidy and shabby! There was a construction compressor trailer parked in a handy cap parking spot in front. This was not a pleasant experience for a large chain Motel. We will not stay there again and would not recommend it too anyone. This Red Roof Motel requires a major over haul and renovation.

We needed a hotel for overnight on the way home from a long road trip. We had not stayed at a Red Roof Inn before, and we will not likely stay again. They did not immediately have a room ready, which was fine since we had arrived prior to the posted check in time. However, it was disclosed by the desk staff they had 3 housekeepers walk off the job due to some argument, and were now short staffed. They were able to get us into a room fairly quickly on the exterior, first floor near the pool. Unfortunately, the room had a funny smell and the door would not latch when we went to drop our things and leave (it appeared closed, but could be pushed open without a key). So back to the front desk for a new room assignment this time on the interior 3rd floor. This room was an improvement in overall appearance and smell. However, at bed time we discovered the sheets on both beds were thread-bare (actual holes), and slightly stained (obviously washed, but these sheets should have been inspected and removed from circulation). This is a non-smoking hotel, thus every door we walked out of there were people gathered around smoking outside. Same was true for people smoking outside their rooms around the pool area, thus we chose not to use the outdoor pool with the kids. A designated smoking area away from main entrances and the pool would be recommended. This is also a pet friendly hotel, so we had a couple of occasions where the elevator opened and dogs were barking at us. We don't mind pets (we have a dog of our own), but pets on the elevator seems like a bad idea. Again, designated pet rooms on a main level might make more sense in respect to other guests. For a 3-story hotel, the elevator was remarkable slow, and the elevator foyers are stuffy and not air-conditioned. Perhaps that makes the wait for the elevator feel longer than it actually is, but there is only 1 elevator and stairs are not an option to the 3rd floor with luggage. The morning breakfast offered consisted of a bowl of apples, a loaf of bread for toast, and coffee (no cereal, no yogurt). We checked out and went elsewhere to eat. If we had required more than a 1 night stay, we would have reconsidered staying at this hotel at all. As it was, we were in the hotel room for about 10 hours total--and 8 of those were sleeping. We left early and won't be back.

Our experience was not a pleasant one. I am a single mom traveling alone with my daughters. I did not feel safe at this hotel. Many sketchy people hanging around outside. I didn't even feel safe leaving our bikes on our car rack. There were stains on the sheets and comforter. It had a bad smell throughout and the pool was dirty. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6-10 and I went down at 7 and there was no food left. I would never recommend or repeat my visit again. Nasty place

Unexpectedly good experience. Very quiet though the facility appeared to be filled.

Non smoking room was clearly NOT a non-smoking room, despite what the staff claimed. The hotel and room was dirty and the entire hotel smelled awful. We checked out and paid for another room elsewhere.

I feel like I was stuck in an old closet that was turned into a room. No bathtowels, no carpet well a small strip by the bed. No lotion no microwave no fridge. Just very generic. King bed had 4 pillows i had to use all 4 because they were small and cheap. Never will book again.
