This house was perfect for a group of friends having a relaxing weekend getaway. Gorgeous views of the sunset and the ocean from the deck, and clean and ample space for many guests throughout the property. For a gorgeous beach nearby, I recommend Spooner's Cove at Montaña de Oro State Park.

Our family has stayed at Karl’s house multiple times now and it’s a great place and location. We particularly love the large upstairs kitchen, dining room and living room space for our large family gathering of 13 for meals and socializing. We usually split between this house and the shoreline in for easy beach accessibility. Super easy check-in and check-out process. We hope to book again for next fall.

My family & I stayed there for a week and had a great time. The house is beautiful with a gorgeous living/kitchen space upstairs, beautiful finishes throughout and a fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach & restaurants. Plenty of linens, towels & anything conducive to a very pleasant & enjoyable stay. The only negative was that each evening a few hundred bats flew out of the small gaps above the front balcony between the fascia & the shingles. Not sure if this posed a health issue, but we did sweep up guano each morning. When I informed the owner, he said he was aware and that remediation would commence within 5 days. We enjoyed the house so much, we would love to stay there again in the near future providing there are no “neighbors “ to share the place with us!

Very nice property for our family. Large kitchen and very open dining-family room area. Very clean and nice updated amenities. Walking distance to the main Cayucos shopping/restaurant area.

Positives - Spacious family room and kitchen (well stocked), nice beach vibe and walking distance to the ocean, nice jacuzzi in back, washer and dryer worked well.Negatives - Floors were dirty (all of our feet got dirty walking barefoot in the house), very little paper products (a few rolls of tp and no paper towels), no soap in the showers, tp holders in 2 bathrooms were broken, upstairs outside balcony had a lot of rat turds on the floor (from roof?) that would return after being swept out, so we did not utilize it as much as we would have liked.Probably would not stay there again. (If you have toddler(s), bring a baby gate for the stairs.)
