The Surestay is our “ go to hotel” in Castlegar. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are clean and very comfortable and the breakfast has a nice array of tasty options, including hot items like scrambled eggs etc.

Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Bathroom was the only disappointment as no soap in dispenser, and shower curtain bar came down. Staff were very quick to respond however. Good experience overall. Will retun.

Good choice hotel in the area clean breakfast was amazing that fresh berries and waffles and eggs. The rooms were clean and spacious nice balcony at the back nice and quiet. The people at the desk are really friendly. The people in the breakfast nook are kind and helpful. I’d stay there again.

A bit outdated and the wall looked like it hadn't been completely painted on one side of my room. It made me a bit worried that you couldn't lock the window but I am used to a bigger city where thise safety concerns are prevalent. For the price and location It was good

Staff are very friendly! The location is walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores etc. The continental breakfast was fresh and hot. The room was very clean. The only negative was the carpet. I stayed there before and the bottom floor rooms didn’t have carpets so much nicer. The top floor needs some upgrades otherwise it’s a great place to stay.
