I had no tv , I was given ripped towels, you had to ask for coffee for your room . So I had dropped something down behind the dresser and had to move it there was remote for tv.along with a lot of dust .when I complained about everything, I was handed my paid in full bill, no compensation for my terrible stay. The hot tub was Grose, no one cleaned it 3 days I was there.pool was ok ,very cold .staff were not helpful at all .

Two issues. 1. Toilet paper is very thin. 2. They didn't tell me at check in that they were putting a charge thru on my card. I had already paid for the room and seeing a second charge go thru was unsettling. I hadn't been asked or given permission to charge my card. I was assured it would be reversed at checkout but I haven't seen that go thru my account yet. Their explanation was reasonable and I trust that I will be refunded but it would have been better if I had been asked before they processed it.

We book here primarily for the waterslide. The pump has been burnt out now for our last few stays. In discussing (kindly) with staff, they have indicated there is no current plan to replace it. The pool is not big/deep enough to be worth it without the slide. The rest of the hotel is "ok". It is mostly clean but showing considerable wear and tear and a lack of continued maintenence and care (windows don't close completely, bathroom caulking is missing, some general breakdown). The people are lovely. The breakfast is reasonable and is open early. We had plans to stay 3 times this summer, and we were already booked, but I am looking into rebooking elsewhere.

Not what it used to be

We had previously stayed at this location while visiting family and the area with overall satisfaction. The location was picked for our 3 night booking based on our prior positive experiences and in case bad weather made indoor alternatives necessary. Unfortunately our latest experience was different. The following contributed to our overall disappointment: the attached restaurant is currently closed as it is being renovated with construction fencing surrounding the area to the side of the hotel front door, the waterslide in the hotel could not be used, the room we stayed in had mould in the caulking around the tub, the overhead fan in the shower had an abundance of lint visible and we had to go the front desk to ask for towels as none were supplied in the room, the TV had a bare minimum of channels. Breakfast options were toast, muffins, waffles, apples, oranges, coffee, tea and juices. We were told the first morning when asking if there were eggs available (boiled at minimum) that they wouldn't have any for a couple of days. There is a Safeway next door. Thankfully, boiled eggs were provided the last morning we were there. To end with a positive, the staff we spoke to were very nice and helpful.

My children and I were so excited to stay here. We had a poolside room and the kids were so excited to swim. The slide was broken( apparently for months) the hottub was cold and we were told they had to change the water because it was merky. I’m sure that did not happen over night. The breakfast that was provided was very limited , the coffee machine did not work. The orange juice was a funny colour. We decided to go to the MacDonald’s down the street. This was a very disappointing stay. The only good thing was the fun room we stayed in.

We have stayed here many times over many years. It was a busy long weekend so breakfast selections were slim by the time we went for breakfast. Room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The water slide wasn’t working which didn’t affect us. One morning there was no coffee. But price was great for what we got.

Water slide and hot tub not working. Pool area dirty with water stains on walls and rusted doors. No hot water out of the bathroom sink and barely any out of the shower. Restaurant has been closed for a while (being renovated). Hotel is dirty in hallways. Gym hours are 8am-8pm so no early morning workouts for those that start their day that way. When checking out, asked the supervisor (?) about the all the deficiencies and why there was no updates online or an email letting us know earlier about the lack of amenities, she basically said you booked through a 3rd party so it was my fault.
