Pleasant stay, great food and staff! located in the centre of the city

While it shouldn't be a huge surprise, the hotel gives the worst rooms to Orbitz bookers and then does very little to accommodate for any discontent with you 3rd floor room. The rooms themselves are not worth even the discounted rate and I'd recommend that travelers look elsewhere.

We stayed here on our honeymoon recently and greatly enjoyed the view of the mosque from our room, the extremely comfortable bed, some tv channels in English, and the extremely helpful staff. After a rocky start (the taxi service the hotel offers is nice, but the other taxis at the airport fought with our taxi for an hour--sometimes physically--before we were allowed to go to the hotel), we enjoyed a few nights in the room and relaxed in the indoor heated pool. We did not realize that food would be so pricey, and accidentally had a few yogurts and coffee at the breakfast buffet which ended up costing us $50. Insane. Be careful; the breakfast buffet is $25 a person (very good food mind you) but not worth that much money when there are perfectly lovely cafes all over downtown Casablanca that cost all of $5 for two people to eat a full Moroccan breakfast. Also, we decided against coffee in our room because that costs about $5 a cup! For a hotel that already costs a fortune, one would think that some kind of simple breakfast and coffee/tea in the room should be complimentary! I must commend the staff for going above and beyond, however, when my husband and I contracted food poisoning. We couldn't figure out how to ask for the correct drugs at the pharmacy, and one of the men at the concierge went to the pharmacy himself to get us the medicine. He wouldn't accept a tip and offered to upgrade our room which was incredibly sweet.

Incredible hotel. Very clean, comfortable, and the staff were very nice and helpful. A must in Casablanca.

The positives: Truly elegant hotel with amazing room service available 24 hours (everything was delicious, though the eggs benedict was a tad overcooked). The room furnishings and view are breathtaking. Service is impeccable with friendly, English-speaking staff who go above and beyond to address needs. The "negatives": The room was well furnished, but on the edges of the floor and the shower, it wasn't immaculately clean/maintained (caulking was gray vs. clear/white), and the drain noises from the shower throughout the night were a bit distracting. It took some time for a driver from Marrakech to locate.

We had never been to Morocco, but choosing the Sofitel Tour Blanche was the perfect start and end to our vacation. The staff is attentive and multi-lingual, eager to please and provide all the necessary assistance. Its a beautiful new hotel and the beds are heavenly.

Excellent TRUE 5 star hotel. Staff really made the stay perfect, especially Rashid in the restaurant - perfect English, excellent meal recommendations, & excellent service. Hotel has a beautiful interior, interesting artwork & furniture...amazing food in the restaurant + only 20 minutes for room service to bring large dinner for 2 to the room with -0- errors. The only notable disadvantage was that some of the staff did not speak English, only French and Arabic. If you need to stay in Casablanca for business or personal reasons, there is no reason to book anywhere else.
