Stayed one night. Reasonably quiet despite being located in a very busy area. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Well located power jacks. Average wifi. Very friendly and helpful staff. Need improvement: - Tub/shower with no door, just a tiny partition between it and the sink. Impossible to shower without getting the bathroom floor wet - Shower with fluctuating water pressure and temperature. - Breakfast with limited selection, items not labeled or illegible handwritten labels.
We stayed for 3 nights. The room was fine if a little dark. Breakfast was good. Staff were fantastic. Friendly and extraordinarily helpful. I wanted to get a local sim card for my phone. One of the staff came me and very carefully escorted me across the road. We went to 2 places before it was sorted out. So kind.
We stayed at this hotel 3 nights. Now, when we can balance all its pros and cons it was absolutely not worth the 4* and the value. Not at all! Pros: 1. It looked like pretty freshly refurbished, both the lobby and the rooms. 2. It‘s located in the city center and is very close to the Medina. Cons: 1. The windows in the rooms are locked and you can not get them open! To get a sniff or let in fresh air is purely impossible... 2. The breakfast room... It’s really sad if a 4* hotel staff has no idea how to fill all the empty plates at the buffet!! Even the baguette basket was empty??!! It doesn’t matter at which o’clock you come, 7.30am or 9.00am or 9.30am - it was always the same! The most of the hot plates and some cold plates were ALWAYS EMPTY!! The staff was on the spot BUT: they just walking around and doing nothing!! The manager on the front desk was doing the same! We forced to ask the manager and the staff every time to top up the empty plates...it was very annoying... Even because of empty bread basket at 7.45 am!!?? And then we forced to wait and wait and wait until something happened. In the first morning, the front desk lady followed us suddenly so that we wouldn‘t still pay for the breakfast.... We were very surprised about it, had to leave our plates and bring our booking vouchers from the hotel room. As we came, she just said „yes, you have payed already“ without any excuse!! So, we wouldn’t never recommend this hotel!
Fantastic hotel!!! Clean and very central. Staff are very courteous and helpful! Receptionist Ikrame went way and beyond. Amazing service!!! Very near the medina for some local shopping. Comfy bed too.
After a truly awful checkin (5 hours) we finally got our room which was great, very comfortable and quite spacious. The place is clean, the breakfast ok but the staffing is a mixed picture alas. Basic hospitality is missing in some areas which is a pity. With a bit more training and some more effective staff management and this could add the much needed polish.
the service is fine, we had an issue with internet and they fixed it. I was not at all impressed by the breakfast that I found simple and didn't appreciate the lack of labels on food and beverage. indeed some people can be allergic or dont like some ingredients: it should be a basic like in all hotels . Very good location and you sleep well
We stayed for one night before departing Morocco and would have happily stayed for more. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities and good services. The breakfast buffet was of excellent quality and all you can eat, including an omelette and pancake station. The staff were attentive and professional. We had a very comfortable stay. The location was very convenient to transportation and the center of the city. We found it an excellent value for the price.
The hotel is centrally located for the main sights of Casablanca (e.g. main mosque, Rick's Cafe, main markets, main plaza). The area around the hotel is a bit rough and dirty with beggars on every corner. Our room was ok with the water temperature in the shower fluctuating hot and cold. All the doors on the hotel rooms were very noisy to close. The view from our window was to and old building that was being renovated. The only usable hotel lift was very small . The hotel doormen were very helpful. You can't drink the tap water but the little shop over the road had cheap water available. The breakfast was terrible with poor service, queue jumping by Asians for omelettes was allowed. Omlettes didn't include ingredients other than egg if you didn't specify it (lazy, who cares attitude). The young lady at the front counter was very friendly and helpful.
From the outside, the hotel looks modern and cute. Decor is artsy chic. The facade fell away when we walked up to the counter to check in. We had been staying in traditional riads all over Morocco (Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen) and received stellar respectful service up until this point. This was the first time in a modern hotel and were blindsided at the difference. Asmaa at the front desk was dismissive, uninterested and could not answer and was not interested in answering the most basic questions about the hotel. She was also quite unhelpful when asked about nearby restaurants or even the resident restaurant, Zaman. We ordered room service after being given the wrong extension twice from the front desk. The food was extremely subpar. It amounted to a barely dressed up bologna sandwich for $14usd... Shower - how can you mess this up?? The temperature kept modulating between super hot and super cold when the handle was at the middle... It was a game of how long to point the shower handle on your body before moving it away when the temperature went crazy. The breakfast selections were limited but good quality. Riads have got the formula for customer service right. Will not be staying at the Odyssee again. Very disappointed.
We stayed at Odyssee Centre in July 2019 as part of my birthday celebration. The hotel was great, very clean and modern and great value for money. We had breakfast included which was lovely with plenty of choice. We found the hotel to be a great location for us to visit everything we wanted to see and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We hope to come back one day soon.
