I paid the full amount on the website, including the room and all taxes. At the front desk, I was asked to pay an additional for the same tax, which I already paid online. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam.

This is a very good value hotel for a short stay in Casablanca. We stayed two nights and found the rooms clean, the service good, and the location excellent. We arrived around noon after a long transatlantic flight and a three-hour train ride from Marrakesh, and really appreciated being allowed to check in early. The location is ideal for walking. The medina market is about a five-minute walk, the Hassan II Mosque about 25 minutes, and we even walked along the Corniche toward the Mall area, stopping for tea, pastries, coffee, and local snacks. We never needed public transportation and found plenty of nearby places to eat and buy essentials like water. Two bottles of water were provided daily, which we appreciated, and overall cleanliness was very good. There is one important issue future guests should know about, as it was mentioned in other reviews. On our first morning, while we were sleeping in complete darkness, someone fully opened our room door around 8:30 am without knocking or announcing themselves. It appeared to be housekeeping, but the sudden, unannounced door opening was a terrible and very alarming experience and should be addressed by the hotel. Amenities are also very minimal. There was only one roll of toilet paper and no soap or shampoo, only a small bottle of body lotion. Overall, this is an excellent budget-friendly option in a great location to explore Casablanca but be aware of the minimal amenities and housekeeping practices.

Room and bathroom layout was kinda weird. It was such a large space but still felt cramped, and no place to put the soap / shampoo in the shower.. so thats why it gets a 4. Property was fine but we checked our bags on checkout so we could aoend the day exploring Casablanca. When we returned to get bags we had to wait 1.5 hours to get ghe bags. Thank God we were not catching a flight. It was not busy. The person at front desk did not seem to know howvto retrirve our bags. They were literally in a room very close to the front desk. It made no sense.

Huge privacy issue - our hotel room door was opened twice by staff members without knocking. House keeping opened the room door at 8am on day of check-out without knocking or having any system in place to see if we have checked out or not. Second time happened at 11am with someone just walking into our room and then said he thought it was another room - no knock or anything even though the TV was on and hair dryer to know people are in the room. For a 4 star hotel it didn’t have a 4 star service. The hotel doesn’t believe in soap in washrooms - we were told to use the shower gel. No extra toilet paper rolls provided. No tissue box in the room. Bathroom had a dirty rag left in it. Safe was not working. Slow and spotty WiFi. Carpets are super dirty and cannot walk barefoot. Communicating with staff at the front desk staff was difficult. No option to call front desk/room service on the phone. Room itself wasn’t too bad (except carpets) and they accommodated a late check-out by 1 extra hour, but otherwise not the best experience.
