Yes, quite disappointed with this Hotel. It is rated as a 4-star, but its nothing like the 4-star Hotels we have ever known on other trips abroad. We would rate this (at best) a 3-star. It is expensive for what it is. We stayed here in May 2019, during Ramadan. So to be clear about the positives here, the staff are really hard working, polite, friendly, very helpful, and will go the extra mile to please. The location of the Hotel is great too, great beach, and enabling getting to places in the town. The pool area is good, water clean and not over-chlorinated . Fresh sunlounger towels available each day, of course. Almost all staff we ran into are multi-language. Unfortunately there are some unmissable negatives that travellers will discover here. Accessing the beach is like meandering through an active builders yard at the rear of the Hotel. The breakfast room and food is quite under-average. Crumpled-up and/or torn table cloths on the food display tables just hide tiny critters, doesn’t look nice. Many tables had not been laid with cutlery but had chairs, and some that were laid up didn’t have chairs. These things are easily fixed, but attention to detail was not seen in the breakfast room all week. Finally, this Hotel is in desperate need of a thorough and complete face-lift. Its old. The images on their web site belie the reality. It’s a shame because we believe that this Hotel was once very lovely, and so could be again ? We would like to end by saying a big thank you to Abdulhak in the evening restaurant called The Fez (next door to the Hotel). This restaurant serves Hotel customers and was really nice, loved the food, great service, and Abulhak was a genuinely friendly and very helpful staff member waiting on all the diners therein. Really great job at The Fez.
Grotty room dark and gloomy. Whole place in dire need of refurbishment. Couldn't find anything that looked like a pool bar. Lobby bar was served by mostly rude staff that gave you the impression they are doing you a favour. (Except for the main barman who was pleasant and efficient) Our room didn't have a fridge maybe it had been stolen. However the safe was free. Threadbare towels with holes in them. Bath was going rusty. Uncomfortable bed with a duvet that was so heavy it was like sleeping under a sheet of metal! Poor spread at breakfast with no cold meats, cheese, fruit or yoghurt. Dinner was also basic. Reception area run down especially the entrance. Would advise anyone requiring disabled access to give the place a miss. I would imagine when this place was opened many many years ago it was quite majestic. Luckily we only stayed one night.
A spectacular views the Atlantic, spacious, clean bedrooms, comfortable beds, very good breakfast, fresh orange juice, besides the usual breakfast stuff, also some tempting local cooked dishes, lovely pastries, decent coffee, all served in a sea view spacious restaurant.
Stayed for business, located on cornish very good location but hotel needs renewal. Rooms are in very bad condition, there is bad smell inside all around hotel, everything inside room needs to be replaced, breakfast is weak! Only good thing is view, if you choose seaview room you can sleep with sound of atlantic ocean, this is why I stayed here
I loved everything about the hotel! Primary location - just right on the beach. Great swimming pool area, surrounded by a very beautiful garden. Was so peaceful and relaxing! Very helpful and hospitable staff. I really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to go there once again.
first of all I booked a room with expedia. this hotel is the worst hotel I have never seen in Casablanca. I as asked the reception for a sea view room. he said all of them are fully booked. they sent me the oldest part of the hotel where the room are dirty and i think is the part where people take hookers for the night. so I came Back to ask them that I need to go I will book another hotel.then they start showing me other roomes.with sea view which he already said that they fully booked. now the hotel will not give me my money back and Expedia are saying we cannot do anything about it. do not go to this hotel because rooms are like prison sells.
This is a nice hotel near the beach, it has a nice pool and a good breakfast. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms are not!!! There definitely is room for improvements. They should renovate the pool also.
The hotel is nicely situated in La Corniche near the sea, with a mall and restaurants in its proximity. Everything needs refit: the rooms, the spa, the furniture, the towels, etc, even the entrance which can not accommodate wheelchairs and even tourists with trollers (no elevator, downstairs). The team is nice and trying to help persons transporting their luggage and generally offering good service. Food is also not great for breakfast or dinner.
Rooms in poor shape, crumbling plaster and mold. Not well maintained. Being on ocean requires constant upkeep. Friend had money taken, another had cell phone taken. Management's repose was very passive---refused to make police report. Lovely drink on patio- waiter brought us olives. Casablanca is a big complicated city---hard to get your arms around it. Wandered a few streets from market found lovely coffee bar where local men were smoking and drinking strong coffee. My wife was only woman. Very enjoyable.
Superb hotel on Corniche strip in Casablanca. Lovely rooms with fine decor, excellent food breakfast was delicious huge variety displays & professional service by experienced staff. The best hotel to experience either a meal or stay over.
