Lake in the front & llamas in the back! Unique setting for an interstate hotel. Staff was great, & we enjoyed the cookies.

Nice room, small. Did not really like the barn doors on the bathroom also the bathroom could have used a fan especially since it was right next to my bed. The alpacas were adorable and the bed was very comfortable. overall a good today

Great staff, nice gentlemen owner, very big rooms , very relaxed atmosphere , will stay again and highly recommend

We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and loved all of the prohibition-era paraphernalia inside on the walls, classic vehicles outside, etc. We were disappointed when we found out that Hilton-Hyatt decided it was not "their standards", and it had to be removed. However, there are still a couple of things that remained. I got to meet the owner, Hack Ayers (I work for an auctioneer that knows him) and he signed one of his books for me! That was the hi-light of my stay. Watching the llamas graze was pretty cool. We enjoyed our hot breakfast, but sausage or bacon would have been nice. The area where the "ski-chair" swings are, needs much updating.

great stay!! renovation is first class. staff very pleasing and breakfast was great

Checked in late and room was ready, clean, what you would expect from HI. We had our 11 year old with us so it was a nice surprise to find out this Hampton Inn had llamas, yes llamas kept in the field immediately behind the hotel parking lot. I guess the owner has had them for years, there are 4 and it was fun to check them out. I guess there is a first for everything! Breakfast was great lots of options. Nice views. It was a quick 1 night stop but would definitely stay here again. Lots of local decor and history in the hotel too which was a nice touch!

Our room had many unexpected features. Very nice. Coffee in lobby cookies in evening fruit basked in lobby local newspaper. Helpful desk. Lovely setting

No significant problems but no wow either. Nice views of mountains, a lake and alpacas but they were all over a parking lot or a highway. Took 3 tries to get a room key to work.

Find hotel living up to Hampton standards. Is in the process of renovations. Front desk staff was helpful.
