This hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and rooms were very comfortable. The staff was excellent and the rates were good. The llamas behind the hotel made my kids happy - they watched them grazing for hours! I will definitely be staying here again.

We had a group of 17. Great value! Room were clean and updated. Continental breakfast was perfect with lots of choices for everyone. Best part was the view from the swings and outdoor tables. Staff was friendly. Check in was easy even with us arriving at 2am and checking in at different times. Great location right off 75.

I was staying here on Business as I do every month for several days. I had accidentally make my checkout date the 12th instead of the 13th. I noticed that the night of the 11th and called the desk about 2 AM.. I was working nights. They told me no problem. Then in the morning I was called and told I needed to vacate my room as someone had it reserved for the 12th night. I reminded them that on at least 3 occasions when I arrived there the room I had pre booked had been unavailable to me. And asking me to pack up my room and move and than unpack only to have to repack everything when I woke up at 4:30 PM to leave wasn't reasonable. I told the person on the phone also as a Diamond Hilton member I expected better. I was going to bed and notice a note had been slipped under my door. It informed me I needed to check out then and I had to move rooms. I called to speak to the manager. She insisted that if someone pre books a room I have to leave. When I questioned her on why then for at least 3 times when I arrived and my room wasn't available that hadn't been done for me. And 1 time I was told the people had decided to stay. She was unable to give me an answer. Especially when they hotel was empty. I ended up moving rooms after being assured that it would be quite like the room I was in as I needed to sleep during the day for my last 14 night shift in the Emergency Room. The manager tried to hand me a pack with water and a couple of candy bars. Like that helps me from loosing about 1 hour of my sleep time. I got settled in the new room and then the noise began. people stay right next to me had a young child and over the next 1 1/2 hours they and him went in and out of the room to the hall and slammed the door. That finally ended and I was able to sleep. After leaving I again noticed the parking lot had under 10 cars in it. How is it possible that they were unable to find another room for the people checking in when the hotel at the time I was leaving was this empty. I have been overlooking a lot of the problems at the hotel. After checking in 1 time I noticed again a note slipped under my door informing me that they were doing boiler work and there would be problems with hot water. I called the desk and why I wasn't informed of this before checking and they they said they weren't doing it that was. They also after being questioned stated there would be noise and it might be hard for me to sleep during the day. And I was also put on the first floor where there is much more car and people noise for people trying to sleep during the day. I had pre booked a room on the second floor. The breakfast buffet has a small selection and the food sin't as good as when I first started staying here. Definitely not as good the the neighboring Holiday Inn Express. When you go to use the business area with computers and printer there is never a pen or note paper if you need it. If you forget to bring it down from your room. The maids when knocking on doors and asking about cleaning the rooms can be right next to my door with the Do Not Disturb sign and knock very loud and will ask several times very loud about service at the surrounding rooms. Even if you ask the front desk to remind the maids that I will be sleeping during the day it makes no difference. This episode was the final straw. I will not stay here and they lose 60 -70 nights a year from me. I took pictures of the empty parking lot to show how empty the hotel was.

Very clean, well kept. We brought our boat. Parking is great, secure We were able us the hotel as a springboard to visit the area. Knoxville, Pigeon Forge and other areas are easily accessible with I-75 so close.

This hotel can't be beat for its location as it sits above Cove Lake State Park. Four llamas on the property add some fun for children and Hack Ayers greets everyone with quiet charm and local color. Be sure to see the framed jacket in the lobby, with a bullet hole from a revenuer's gun that ended his father's life as a moonshine distributor.

Loved the location!! The mountain and lake views from the room are nice. Facility also has tables, swings and rockers outside to allow guests to relax and enjoy the scenery as well. Very nice and updated facility. Super clean!

The room wasn't clean the service was horrible I explained that there were spiders and Beatles in the room management did nothing I would never stay here again I didn't get apologize to in fact the owner so this never happens here when I offered to take him back to the room and show him the Reminence of the bugs he laughed at me and said I guess I'll an exterminator! Don't stay here I never would again

We only stopped overnight after a 10 hour drive but the view was amazing! The staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious in the morning. We loved the view from our room. The decor was newly updated. Im sad I didnt get a chance to swing out front in front of that view but I could see it from our balcony too.

Hampton Inns have earned a reputation for high quality and this one is no exception. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was quite good... there was even a nice selection of fresh fruit. The only downside was that there was a barn door for the bathroom. Fine if you are alone or with a spouse. Not so much if traveling with a friend!

We stopped here for one night on our way to Gatlinburg. The rooms were clean, updated, and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the breakfast and free coffee that is available 24 hours. There are cute swings overlooking the lake, and there are llamas roaming the premises. We didn't use the pool area, but it looked nice. Overall, we were very pleased with our brief stay here.
