This was the first time in Portugal, and our first time here at this Hotel. It was amazing. The rooms were great. Overlooked the bay, the cliffs and the ocean. Patio was awesome. Parking on the street, right in front of the hotel...very safe and all the restaurants and bars are a few blocks away....we rarely moved our rental car. ....Exactly as advertised. Breakfast delivered on the patio was great. The staff was super helpful and friendly. One of the top places we have every stayed. The staff made this a great place. We hope to come back next year, and would only stay here. Thanks.

Casa Vela is a true gem! The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Rute, the manager. The entire place was beautiful and very clean. The location was perfect, walking distance to Carvoeiro beach, restaurants, bars and shops. I highly recommend this guesthouse!

Best location in the Algarve at Carvoeiro! Down some steps from our room to the beach. We had a family room with kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds in lounge. Good size patio with tables, chairs and 2 sun lounges with beautiful view of the beach. Hostess was helpful and responsive. Unit clean with daily room service. Impeccable! Dining options nearby. Ask host for recommendations because we enjoyed 2 of them. We were lucky to get parking on street outside. Our balcony was protected from late afternoon sun and an annoying streetlight overnight. Some balconies not so. Highly recommend our room 12.

The location is the best of the best. The view is so beautiful. The staff is friendly. We did the Seven Hanging Valleys Walk and boat ride. Everything is easy access. We had fantastic stay.

Our room was great we had a balcony overlooking carvoeiro beach & the breakfast basket we paid for on a couple of days was fantastic fresh orange juice, coffee, scrambled egg, bacon & tomatoes with fresh rolls & a couple of pastel da nata all delicious. The staff were so helpful with suggestions of restaurants & even booked a reservation for us. Can’t recommend enough we’ll definitely be back 😎
