Nice and reasonable, good location. Service for checkout was slow and not accurate on billing.

I was nervous to stay here at first because I had difficulty finding the hotel website & it had 2 names. I was pleased with my stay. It was exactly as described, great location right outside wall city & Getsemani, staff was very hospitable. I would stay there again.

Excellent. Looked exactly like the website pictures. Away from noise but 5 minutes walk to walled city of Cartegena. Modern design. Air conditioner full blast. Free breakfast with fruits, continental but made to order eggs. Clean. Full size organic products in bathroom. Daily cleaning service. Arranged my antigen to return to US, which is back in 4 hours for $130,000 pesos. (Divide by 3.6 for USD). Free round trip shuttle service to airport. It’s 30 minutes to airport with traffic. Staff spoke enough English. Thank you to Alfonso for getting me the local, local coffee to go home. They staff kept coming to the curb to translate for me for the taxi. Restaurant staff nice too. The only caveat is the pool is nice but it is an infinity pool so large groups can’t chill together. For some strange reason there are no umbrellas at the pool. It’s clean and there are only 5 chairs there. I didn’t try wi fi but it’s free. Roof top nice panoramic views. My friend stayed at the luxurious Sofitel hotel with giant pool and the other stayed at La Porom, which is a classic convent as well and those look Spanish colonial, gorgeous. This is way modern so doesn’t feel like Colombia other than garden wall but I would stay there again unless I was on a romantic trip. I didn’t see any kids, or large groups.

I liked the close proximity to everything that's going on in the walled city. When in Cartagena, you gotta stay in or near the walled city... otherwise what's the point. Anyway, great hotel... a little dark in the lobby and hallways but i get it, it's hot in Colombia

I highly recommend stay here!

The perfect location.

Incredible staff and service! Great location and in the heart of getsemani.

Excellent staff, good location. Small rooms but cozy.

Other than not having a jacuzzi and some loud guests this js my favorite hotel in Colombia. Great staff. Kelly and Alfonso especially.

Although the hotel amenities, food and location were all great, we arrived to a significant problem that was poorly handled by the staff at reception. We were told that there was a maintenance problem with our room, and as the hotel was fully booked, they needed to send us to another hotel. While the other hotel was only five minutes away, the location was unattractive and definitely resulted in a feeling like we lost one of our three days in Cartagena. The staff offered a meal and a 30-minute massage to make up for the lost night, which was something, but the bigger problem was the way in which they communicated the issue. They left it to the youngest staff person who did not speak any English while the other staff in the reception area looked on and didn’t offer any help with English until our frustration levels were heightened. This was unfortunate for the young staff member and for us. We certainly understand that problems happen and one must be flexible while traveling, but the hotel did not handle this issue well at all upon arrival, although they did do everything they could to make it up, including comping our laundry service. The food is great, the rooftop pool is lovely, and the location can’t be beat. Despite the problem we experienced, I would recommend a stay here and wish the staff all the best with their continued professional development.

The rooftop pool was my favorite thing about Cartagena

Sleek, clean, friendly staff. Small rooms with slow internet.

I stayed at the allure from jan23-Jan28,very good hotel.Staff is nice, place is clean, great location.

Bed was comfortable but no place to unpack for our week stay

This was our second time staying at the Allure Chocolat and it was just as excellent as the first time, maybe even better. Wonderful staff, always friendly and helpful, beautiful rooms scented with aromas of your choice, the pool and bar are top notch and the breakfasts are so good even the local birds want a part of it. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

Great hotel within the Walled City but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the Old City (it’s a short five minute walk away). Very clean, comfortable rooms. Outstanding authentic Colombian breakfast included. Extremely polite and friendly staff whose goal is to make your stay the best possible. Great pool, deck, and bar for your enjoyment. Would absolutely stay at the Allure Chocolat again!

Nice property just steps away from old city. Delicious breakfast with great variety. Rooms are beautiful.

This hotel made my 30th birthday so memorable. Around 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel which was great. The location is amazing - so close to the Old City without dealing with all the traffic and crowds and at the same time right in Getsemani. Its the perfect location to visit both and I was so happy with the hotel. Best customer service from check in, breakfast, room maid, to check out. The hotel is so clean and quiet. Rooftop infinity pool is amazing in the heat (only a few lounge chairs but that didn't bother me as I would rather be in the pool). There is also another level for a rooftop lounge that gives a great view of the city. Breakfast selection is great - and I loved the people who were working the breakfast hour - so friendly and caring. The room is so neat and clean. Loved the garden wall view rather than seeing the city - it made you feel one with nature. The shower is so tall and comes with a rain shower head - so perfect. There is also a mini market to get water, beer, souvenirs, etc to the right of the hotel. You won't be disappointed if you choose this hotel and I say that with absolute confidence.

Close to convention center; good bkfst., rooftop pool.Rooms quite small many w no external view. Horrible acoustics.Staff not bilingual, weak security.

Great staff, friendly and willing to help. Very clean and comfortable public spaces and rooms. Small pool and limited lounge availability ...could be improved. Rooms are very nice .....we stayed in a luxury view room more square meters however we were given city view over very busy street... beware when booking for Fri, Sat and Sunday as the party goes on thru the night in Cartagena...unfortunately the hotel was booked so we could not relocate. Very unfortunate but overall a great place if they could put in sound proof windows.
