Elevator went out while we were in it nothing said or sone about it Checkout was suppose to be 2 had to check out at 12 since front desk overnight worker didnt make a note about it. The female manager was very unprofessional. She hung up phone while i was talking then stood outside of the room door while i got my 4 kids ready to leave. Room was dirty bathroom tube was so dirty i had to wash it before allowing my childern to shower. We slept on our our blankets and sheets that i bought from walmart across the parking lot.

WORST HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS!!!!!

1st of all the 1st room I got the door was open and it was not completely cleaned for a new guest. Then as I was retrieving my items to take to the new room some random guest decided he wanted to walk into that room. Kinda freaked us out. The tv reception in the new room was a joke. So morning comes and went to shower and guess what..... water would not come on at all, plus even if it did the lever that allows you to turn on shower head was broken. Not ideal considering we had a 8 hr trip ahead of us. So informed front desk of issues and pretty much got a shrug of the shoulders. Went to eat breakfast and NO HOT FOODS, not a big deal but combined with everything else it was just icing on the cake. Needless to say that was the absolute worst Holiday Inn Express we have been in. If there was a way of getting my money back I would go after it, but considering the experience I probably would get a attitude that it was our fault

I booked an accessible room but when I got there I realized that the room didn't have grab bars for the toilet, only the shower. I went to the front desk. They were so kind and immediately worked out which rooms they had available that actually had grab bars in the toilet vs the shower. They were able to book me a room that had the correct bars so call ahead if you need grab bars to get off the toilet. The staff were so helpful. The property was clean. The room was clean. The bed was so uncomfortable that it made for a restless night.
