stay away from this motel, they are bad for the customer bad for the hotel industry. Why the city of Carlsbad allowed such a business to offer its services to the public, they hold a prime location but used to to abuse customers. Motel 6 headquarter should think twice about this franchise they are tarnishing the image. Untrained and unprofessional staff

The worst experience ever. The room smelled horrible. A combination of humidity, stale cigarette and the disinfectant they use to “clean” the rooms. One of the sheets had a blood stain, the tub was clogged, there were crumbs everywhere and the fridge wasn’t working. Our food spoiled because of it. I tried talking to the manager about the issues and he started yelling at me. As previously stated, this was the worst experience of my life.

This was such a great stay !! Close to lots of eating establishments and close walking distance to Legoland .. was uphill walking but downhill back !! Saved $35 parking

Comfy stay

Just a quick day trip to get out of the city and be close to the beach. In a decent area with walking distance stores and restaurants. Had people outside partying in front of my door, called to the front office to notify them and they addressed and took care of the situation right away. Thank you so much for that!

The room was tidty. Just the floor were really dirty. If you walk bare feet. It turn your feet black. It may look clean ! But its dirty. Really bad job of fixing everythings up. It also have kinda moldy smell too. They came and took our towels. Only leave 2 to replace it. I have to go ask for more. They didnt want to give us more. I stated that we were there for 2 nights.

Room was clean. Daily service great. But had a strong tobacco smell every time our a/c came on due to a neighboring guest smoking continuously outside of her room while sitting on her room's a/c unit. Also had a daily issue with our room key card. Upon returning to the hotel at 8pm on 6/20 our card wouldnt open our room door. I went to the office and waited 30 minutes for the employee to return from break! Not the employee's fault but additional coverage would have been nice. I was one of 3 guests waiting for her to return...we all needed new room key cards.

Smooth check-in process & staff was very friendly. I appreciate the fact that this hotel isn't very far from Camp Pendleton and was close to beaches and shopping outlets. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was free coffee in the lobby which was nice! I will definitely be back in the future when I am in the area.
