West Coast haven

We loved Unit 3 so much. The location is perfect and we really appreciated the beach cart and chairs. The kitchen is lovely with high end appliances as is the laundry room. The beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the Coutyard too. Ophelia was wonderful when we need hand soap and trash bags. No complaints. We’ll be back.

Excellent location, condo not so much.

You can’t beat the location, literally just steps to the beach and three blocks from Carlsbad Village. Very walkable to shops and restaurants. The condo itself was not great. The beds were very comfortable which is important but furniture and decor is very dated. The shower was not functioning properly so half the water continued to go right down the drain, very wasteful. The control for the light/ceiling fan in the main bedroom didn’t work. You couldn’t use the disposal in the kitchen sink due to clogging issue. We were in a downstairs unit with no view and the noise from upstairs foot steps, toilet flushing etc. was no bueno. I would stay at this complex again but would definitely want an upstairs unit with a better view.

Very nice but…

Pros: Very clean, beautiful remodel to an old apartment complex. Super comfy beds High quality appliances Stocked with Coffee, sugar and powder creamer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Close to beach. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping. Cons: Built in 1959 so the walls are THIN. Management has done their part by posting signs to not jump, bang etc, when you are on the second floor but you could hear the other guests nonetheless. We were in Unit 3 which is next to the courtyard so can hear everyone who is out there as well. It was fine for this trip but I think summer may prove more challenging if you are a light sleeper. Parking is tight and there is one spot per unit. Someone decided to park in ours the last night. We called management and they quickly directed us to a new spot for the night.

Perfect in every way

The place was in the perfect location to go to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars. We didn't need a car to go anywhere. Beautiful 2 bedroom condo with a bonus common hangout area with lounge chairs, firepit and outdoor kitchen. Would LOVE to return in the Summer when it's warm enough for the beach.

They thought of everything!

My family of 5 visited for 4 days. This place was great. From beach chairs and umbrellas to everything you'd need for meal preparation. The outside grill area was amazing. We walked to the beach in 2 minutes, had an amazing time. I'll be back for sure!

Carlsbad beach condo

Clean, conveniently located near restaurants and beach. Could have used a frying pan. Quick responses from owners when I had a question. Would definitely stay here again. Loved boogie boards and beach chairs. Nice touch.

Steps to beach and had all we needed

We had a great stay! Easy check in and out process . Steps to the ocean and had everything we needed at the house . Having the Wagon and beach chairs was the best. The covered parking was perfect. We love the manager Angle too .
