We stayed here as part of a band your to island. Brilliant location, brilliant hotel, has everything we could ask for, meals in the evening were decent, a bit pricey but good taste. The leasure facilities were a bonus, although be aware of age limitations especially for the gym, and being your swimming hat!!! Loved the breakfast, standout moment of the tour. Good selection, something for everyone. Friendly staff. The rooms were a bit warm but comfortable and spacious.

On arrival i met a very pleasent girl on reception...very informative. The room was clean but very dated...an old brown tiled bathroom with a poor shower. The food was good but the few staff working in the bar where uninterested and didnt want to be there. I went out for a beer rather than sit in a very dull, dark hotel bar. Room was quiet but not warm. Plenty of parking. I was put here by a work booking...they wont be booking it again. Huge potential but nobody has any interest.

From the moment we checked it till the moment we checked out, i have never dealt with staff who were so helpful and obliging. They showed noting but kindness. My son has autism and we asked for a larger room which they did with no fuss. The room was fab. The children loved the pool so clean and family friendly. The jacuzzi was the nicest i was ever in and the steam room and sauna were great too. The pool staff were lovely and dressing rooms so clean.we ate in the bar and the food was amazing. Everything was perfect. After the meal my children got icecream in an easter egg which i taught was so nice. The bar staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough. The breakfast the next day was lovely, we enjoyed the hot buffet the mushrooms were fab. Great variety in cereals and crossants. I would highly recommend this hotel, family friendly and amazing helpful staff. Thank you seven oaks.

We had a family reunion recently at your hotel. The food and service was excellent. I had the salmon it was cooked perfectly. followed by sherry trifle which i really enjoyed. The staff were very efficient & accommodation. Will be back.

Stayed here one night as part of Leger Ring of Kerry Tour. Having arrived very late due to Ferry delay we were greeted by friendly, smiling staff who had been made aware of our delay and although 3 coaches all arrived together we were treated exceptionally well. Our meals were served first - excellent food and big portions. Reception staff brought our room keys to us during the meal to save time and explained where to find our rooms - this directions were appreciated as the hotel is a bit of a maze. Can only comment on one night didn't use any of the facilitates at the hotel only the room and dining room but found everything of a good standard. Room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped - including toiletries. We didn't have a very good view from our room but that didn't matter to us. Breakfast was one of the best we have had on a coach tour - plenty of choice and good portions.

Great hotel. Good food. People are nice. Rooms are nice. The leisure centre is good but is let down by poor maintenance and small things. Showers not working and no shower gel and so on. A pity because a great place is let down by small things that don't cost a lot. My opinion anyway.

Small hotel in Carlow, Ireland. Rooms are nice, but nothing extravagant. Also, some rooms take quite a bit of walking to get to. Breakfast is delicious! Staff are nice and helpful, but they have somewhat of a dry personality.

1st time in this hotel - very impressed Food is of good quality and plentiful Hotel is is good order bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage Staff are friendly and helpful Lobby are is of good size Grounds are kept to a good standard

On my first business trip to Carlow I stayed here for three nights and although the hotel has a classic 1960s feel & decor, the friendly staff, convenience to the downtown and my business made it a solid choice. Service staff go out of its way to be helpful including dialing a taxi without hesitation when asked. Breakfasts and the pub are also well presented. Rooms are clean and generally comfortable. My only concern is after a rather cool and rainy day, the rooms could be a bit warmer. Control over the room heat was problematic, but truly being a bit nit picky. Would recommend.

Situated at the edge of the town centre it is an easy walk to the shops etc. Greeted by very charming receptionist, who kindly printed out driving driving directions to the next town. The staff in the bar were equally pleasant and helpful, giving us a better route, which, though slightly longer, avoided the town centre. They also served some nice, home -made ham sandwiches. The bar manager also that evening kindly dispensed cash from our debit card, there being no ATM in close proximity. It looks as if there have been multiple room additions over time. The result is that to get to some 3rd floor rooms one must go to floor 2, then walk through the building before taking another lift or the stairs. However, we got lost the first time. Rooms were large and comfortable, with decent range of pillows. Thoroughly recommended.
