Value for money

Some parts still being refurbished. Good room with clean facilities but very noisy as it was at the front of the hotel. Very good policy regarding food. As they do not have a restaurant you are asked to use their breakfast room if you have a take away and there are plenty of options around the hotel for this. Very friendly staff on the front desk. Parking at hotel is at the back with a controlled gate. If there is no room parking around the hotel is difficult.

The rooms were very basic. The hotel has no lift. But the staff were very helpful and assisted me to carry my luggage up to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was included in the price but very limited.

OYO hotels had recently taken over this property and have worked hard to redecorate bedrooms and ensuites making it very pleasant to stay there. The outside street and parking area were a little unsightly - but we were in the middle of storm Ciara at the time. Simple 'continental' breakfast - I didn't check if they provided 'full English'.

We had booked two rooms non-smoking. One of the rooms they gave us was smoking so we asked to get moved and there was only one room which was a twin but a kind lady offered her room instead. As we booked this almost a month in advance, I am not sure why we didn't have a non-smoking room. The other room was very dirty the toilet had skid marks but as there were no more rooms we could not be moved. Also there was no hot water for a shower at 10 pm. The hotel was in a great location but unfortunately I would not stay again given the disappointment with the rooms.

Great stay

Great stay, perfect location to the city centre and all the bars, restaurants and cinema. Helpful and friendly staff and off street parking which is a massive bonus. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
