We arrived on a Friday afternoon from Nambia and were checked in smartly by the gentleman at the reception. He assisted with our luggage and showed us to our apartment saying that he had upgraded us to a luxury room with a sea view. It was indeed a stunning apartment with a magnificant view of Table Bay. Being ex Naval this mad the experience of seeing the ships arrive even more valuable. Although you spend prettly little time in your room TV in the mornings was quite adequate and WIFI (which nowadays is an issue) was quite enough. Cleaning service of the apartment was very good and you could eat off the floor. Parking is in the street, but limited "protected parking" was available. We were on a bussiness/holiday trip and all in all a very good place to stay ! Well recommended !!!
My friend and l spent 11 nights here as a treat for my birthday . Had a fantastic stay all the staff were very obliging on check in we were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course stunning views!! The studio had everything to make our holiday very enjoyable .We did use the area by the pool to sun bathe however spent a couple of days at the sister hotel The Bay in Camps bay which was a plus as we were able to have a day pass as the hotels are within the same group . I would certainly return to Mouille Point Village again next time for longer .
What use to be a commendable place to stay has become a major disappointment...!! Booked and paid 3 months ago with very specific requirement...sea facing luxury 2 bedroom apartment...that was confirmed !! On arrival, that use to be a pleasant experience...sadly an arrogant reaction when point was made that the apartment allocated overlook the golf course not sea facing and by long shot not comparable to the sea facing we became use to !! After enquiry we were informed that irrespective of booking and paying long in advance...allocation of units is made at discretion of them !! Sea facing luxury apartment at same price as mountain facing according to them Matter of interest...sea facing apartments purchase price substantially higher than mountain facing Any person who would like more info please get in touch
Stayed here 5 nights- great location to get around Cape Town if no car. We used hop on hop off bus which I highly recommend and taxis. Reception staff are great especially the young man. They offer lots help and tips. Felt safe here as 24hr security. Studio was spacious and a great base. Opposite beachfront great for running!
Hi stayed for 4 nights and it turned out to be a great Base. If you are a member, the Virgin Active is a 10 min walk to through the park. There are various restaurants in close walking distance. Walk to the V&A Waterfront was 20 minutes. My unit had a nice view of the golf course. Parking is paid for separately, but this is common in Cape Town.
Large 2 bedroom appartment with view over the golf course and mountains. Kitchen, bathroom and a living room. Value for money. Not luxury. The appartment is nice and clean. Perfect for 4 persons. Good location.
We have stayed here many times over the past 15 years. The apartments are clean and some are very spacious. They are scrupulously clean and very welcoming. The staff are helpful. If you are arriving on the overnight flight from the uk the check in time is about 2pm....so brunch on the Waterfront beforehand is a good idea......Cafe San Marco is perfect! We will be back!
Arrived well before check in and the receptionist/manager was kind enough to let us go to the room drop our stuff and shower and then they prepared the room. The room was huge , had glorious views of the golf course and mountains . Great facilities and very modern , had room 607 , had 2 bedrooms and room for up to 6 people, so for the 2 of us we were loving it . The door was broke and they literally fixed it the next day without any fuss. We were on the 6th floor so you need to take a lift. It's residential as well so there's people getting up early for work and doors bang loudly, I did have some janitors chatting outside the room during the day .... They just hung around a bit. The room was serviced perfectly. One night we were kept awake by a ships horn , it was a foggy night and this must have woken up the whole of the sea point. Not sure if that's a regular thing? The location is a 10 to 15 min walk to the Va waterfront, and did feel very safe wandering back at night. There was plenty of free parking around the cost and back roads so we didn't feel the need to pay 90rand a day for onsite. We were given 250mb each of free wifi , which we didn't manage to use all and there's a free wifi pc in reception . Small pool, it is on the roadside so that was a bit noisy, you have to sign with security to use it, that's the only think we weren't told . So I wasn't sure why security were asking me to sign the book whilst sunbathing one day. Feels very safe on the waterfront, it's about 15 mins to some local shopping area with woolworths. Nice walks along the coast and great for joggers. Found the virgin active gym and used this a couple of days . Lovely stay, great staff... Thanks for a lovely start to our holiday
We had a 5 night business/holiday stay at the apartments. Perfect location and and well looked after. The apartment had everything in it that we needed. The view across the ocean was the cherry on top.
Great location if you are new to Cape Town or a returning visitor. Staff helpful and friendly. Well looked after by everyone. Clean and well stocked with amenities. Needs some updating though. I would guess Apartment 404 was last refurbished in the 1980's. Missing kitchen cabinet door, wardrobe door with odd pen marks and damaged bathroom cabinet. Charging for WIFI is a bit out of date too.
