Stayed here for one night with the kids. Pictures are misleading. Rooms and living area are spacious though. Very noisy due to next to a main road. Did not sleep. Not a quick walk to Waterfront. Dodgy area. Avoid

We stayed 5 nights at Harbouredge Apartments and we really enjoyed our stay. The Apartment was big and well equipped. Furthermore we had two parking lots in the garage. Only the cleaning of the room could be better.

Friendly and helpful staff. A very secure place, especially when travelling alone or for business! Apartment was tidy and neat. Have met my expectations! Will definitely return! Keep up the good work!

The apartments are in a good location, about a 10 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront. The views unfortunately are not very scenic. There is traffic noise. Our one bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. We did however have a problem with our mattress and as the apartments are privately owned, the manager was unable to replace the mattress. After 3 days, we were able to move to a different apartment within the complex. Security measures were very good and the staff were friendly. There is a car park in the basement.

Everything is good, only one thing because we are 6 men living in house for this trip, if this 3 bedroom is a combination of 1 double bed and 2 twin beds the room should be better, more suitable for guests of different types of combinations

Its definitely the place yo stay if you want to feel like home...ive stayed at many places but non of them as comfy as this and i wont stay anywhere else the staff are fantastic and friendly willing to help with anything and its clean...its sll u want when u away. Absolutely love it

Excellent value for money and location. Due to the location there is traffic noise when the doors and windows are open. Security very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bed in the main bedroom was a bit worn out

I booked in with 3 friends for a weekend away and we had a lovely stay. It is clean, modern and quiet in the building. The staff are all very professional and friendly. I can really recommend them if you prefer a self-catering stay.

Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment, with kids (14 & 11) main bedroom bedroom plenty of wardrobe space, although lack of drawers, free to use safe and own bathroom, other bedroom twin beds and again own bathroom. No air con in bedrooms only in living / kitchen area but this wasn’t a issue despite temperatures late 20’s Living area huge with tv with great sports channels showing all uk Football Free WiFi kept dropping and new passcodes required every few days but reception are great and happy to help u get online and answer / help with other questions balcony massive but views are the main road and is noisy and only gets sun in morning Housekeeping is great, keeps everything clean even emptied and dried our laundry Security is strong, always around, u can only get into hotel if u have key, there’s barriers to entry and lifts only work with fob, felt very safe in this hotel Surrounding area does have a homeless shelter nearby and is slightly daunting walking to hotel after dark, suggest always take a taxi after dark Shops 2 mins walk away, as is fireman’s arms pub which does great food and shows all sports and fun quiz night on a Thursday v&a waterfront 20 minute walk but u have to navigate a few busy roads it’s 50r in a taxi and anything between 50-100r coming back. Strongly suggest a Taxi especially at night Pool closed due to water crisis but it’s more of a dip pool for cooling down rather than a swimming pool again only gets sun during morning

To be honest this property sits somewhere between 3 and 4. The 1 bedroom apartment we had was clean and well appointed but some furnishings were beginning to look a little tired particularly in the bathroom. For the price tho it does represent good value for money. There is a rental car business right next door which is very handy. My main problem I have with Harbouredge Apartments is it's location. While it is a easy 2 minute walk to the main shops in De Waterkant it is at the end of the 2 roads that lead to it and only 1 block from a men's shelter. On occasions there were some troubled individuals and sadly lost soles that you had to navigate around on your way to and from the apartment who My Gorgeous Wife and I assisted with water, food and money when we could but some less-traveled may find scary and intimidating. I'm not sure I'd want to be walking to the apartments late at night. Due to the lack of rain in Cape Town over summer the streets haven't had the benefit of rain wash leaving the area smelling of urine and other which was a little unpleasant. I'm trying not to be too negative because the apartment was good but right now the location of this property does let it down. Tip ... ask for a 1st floor apartment which has a large outside deck versus a terrace on the apartments above. The management of Harbouredge have informed me they are talking to Council so the issue regards the outside environment may well be sorted sometime soon. A good downpour of rain would also help !
