Cape Town Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers

We have visited the Crystal Towers on numerous occasions and without a doubt can state that this is most likely the top 5* hotel with regards to value for money. The facilities are world-class, excellent modern spa, vibrant restaurant, and private rooms within the bar. The rooms offer ultra-modern decor and the romantic turn downs are excellent. I will recommend the Crystal Towers for business, conferences, dinner evening and especially romantic breakaway weekend.

This is my second stay at this hotel and in general the standards have been maintained. The service is quite good both at the front desk, the bar and the breakfast room. The rooms are really nice and I still like the L.E.D. lighting in the room with the shower in the centre. My only negative comment is that when we were the lobby leather seating needed to be replaced as it was very badly cracked and peeling. Overall a very good stay near the mall for shopping and not too far from the city for other attractions.

I normally stay in the CBD when im in CT but for a change decided to try out the Century city side & i was not disappointed at all! Beautiful modern hotel, very friendly staff & it has a link to the century mall. Had a lovely stay and enjoyed their breakfast.

The hotel is overall and efficient and well run establishment. From check in to check out staff was efficient resolving any issue quickly with no fuss. Rooms are unique and well designed just the pornstar purple lighting makes it a bit weird. Food here in breakfast and buffets are forgettable and bland at best. Overall a nice well run hotel with good staff who go the extra mile

We were gifted a week's stay for our honeymoon at this hotel (we can't complain too much). The hotel itself was extremely nice. The front desk ladies were extremely helpful, friendly, and sweet. Thoughts: - Rooms: The room was very modern with the shower being having a "beam me up scotty" tube. It was a little awkward for a lady to shave her legs but cool looking. Also, the sink area was awkward with 2 people as the area was very small. - Location: If you are planning on going into Cape Town main city everyday this is not the place to stay. We took an uber in every day and had to conscience about traffic as we were fighting the morning commute. We had to plan our day to leave at 8 am or so and then we wouldn't get back till after dinner. It would have been nicer to stay closer to downtown, but you can't fault the hotel for this as it serves a purpose but for any travelers, you should think twice. They also offer a shuttle but the times were not convenient, i believe it leaves at 11 am and returns at 5 or 10:30. It never worked for us. Breakfast - I would recommend having a little more order to the staff. It seemed that most staff just cleaned up plates and not enough staff serving coffee or helping with other needs. When we were done, they would immediately clear the plates but when you wanted something they seemed to not be around or scurring to pick up empty plates. Just look keep the location in mind when booking.

The Crystal Towers delivers on every front. The staff are attentive and proactive, the food delicious and the rooms modern and comfortable. Great views of table mountain and quirky conference facilities, make this the ideal venue for a corporate getaway conveniently located right next door to the Canal Walk shopping center.

My stay was 7 nights and this hotel has very few pros and many cons. Average hotel, fine for a night or two but not for a week. Pros: lovely pool area and bar which had friendly staff Breakfast has a great spread. Poached eggs are great. As feedback Condiments should be covered so as to avoid oxidation and dryness. Cons: layout of the room is bizarre, the shower sink and tub are literally in the bedroom. Service isn't the greatest. I had to call multiple times to ask them to pick up the ironing. (no iron in the room) They failed to tell me they will not be providing me with drinking water. Gym is minute, only has a treadmill, bike and weights.

Stayed at Crystal Towers for a business trip. Brilliant experience - room was spotless, quiet and all staff were friendly and helpful. Grant went out of his way from the minute I stepped out my car to helping me with my luggage up to my room. Will definitely be back for future trips.

Excellent hotel in Century City; a spacious room with a little eccentric design, large windows with large views of city and mountain. The hotelstaff takes an effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable, but it does not show as an effort, they mean what they say! Very fine dining experience in the hotel restaurant. The Spa delivers what they promise and more.

I stayed at the Crystal Towers for a few nights on business after travelling down from Johannesburg on the second leg of a business trip. Highly recommended - and everything was excellent from check in, the rooms are really excellent and are spacious and very well designed and the dining facilities were fantastic. The pool area is a great way to unwind and commuting to key locations in Cape town is straightforward. The staff are highly attentive and really care about their guests. I intend to return to the hotel with my wife soon so we can see some more of the sights of Cape town.
