Mountaintop Cabin - Hot Tub + Game Room + Fire Pit

Ideal for your family vacation or getting together with a group of friends. You can relax with the hot tub, lounge by the fire pit, or play a round of pool with your friends after a day of exploring Asheville or hiking a trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway, a short drive away.

The space

ACCESS
The road leading up to the cabin is a newly done gravel road with a sharp turn heading up! This type of access is very common for houses in the mountains. The views and the cabin are worth the drive but you must come prepared!

All Wheel Drive(AWD) or a 4WD is required to access the cabin. If you have any questions about the driving in the mountains, please reach out to us. No refunds will be provided for not being able to drive up the gravel driveway.

THE CABIN:
Upon entering the cabin you will find a beautifully and newly renovated open floor plan including a living room, kitchen and dining space! The floor to ceiling windows and views are stunning!

The kitchen is stocked with everything your group may need! This includes a 14 cup coffee maker, a double toaster, gas oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, pots/pans, strainer, dishes, glasses, utensils, cutting boards, wine glasses, silverware, mixing bowls and more! The gorgeous quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances are a dream to cook with.

The dining room has 8 seats as well as 2 additional seats at the island.

The front living room is a cozy and beautifully designed space to relax and enjoy the mountain views while the group prepares snacks and chats about their plans. The open floor plan allows for all to gather while never feeling cramped! We intentionally designed this space with a record player but no TV as it is meant for cooking, eating, relaxing and taking in the views. Please note at this time the fireplace in the front living room does not function.

GAME ROOM:
On the main level towards the back of the cabin, there is a large game room. We hope you use this space to get the full group together at night and have some fun! The game room includes a pool table, shuffle board, as well as books, board games, cards, puzzles and an 75" smart TV. This is the ultimate hang out space in the evening after a long day outdoors!

BEDROOMS:
There are 2 bedrooms located on the main floor of the cabin. Both include a queen bed with luxurious bedding and ample closet space and hangers.
There are 2 primary suites with king beds and full bathrooms on the second floor of the cabin! One suite includes a cozy reading nook with a chair while the other suite includes a desk and work space for any remote work demands!

BATHROOMS:
All bathrooms were fully renovated with updated and trendy fixtures, tile, and design.

There is a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo on the main level which is centrally located for all.

On the second floor there are 2 full bathrooms attached to the bedrooms which both feature mid century designed vanities and tiled walk in showers.

LAUNDRY:
A newly renovated laundry room is located on the main floor with open shelving and some storage.

HOT TUB:
Only guests 25 and over may operate the hot tub. Anyone under 18 years of age may use the hot tub only with DIRECT adult supervision. Glass containers and alcohol are not allowed in the hot tub. Do not use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or if you are pregnant. Using the hot tub is *AT YOUR OWN RISK!*

DECK:
Do not climb on, or lean over deck railings or you risk serious injury.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Enjoy the views while relaxing, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and playing games in the yard. Please leave absolutely no food or trash outside as you'll be inviting any and all wildlife and pests!

CELL SERVICE AND INTERNET:
While you will feel far removed and surrounded by nature at the cabin, we are lucky to receive well supported internet and cell service at the cabin for the most part! The occasional cell or power outage has been reported however overall the experience has been great on service. The 5G Hot Spot Router is set up in a suite on the top floor and cannot be removed or unplugged at any time. No refunds will be provided if an outage out of our control occurs.

If you have a service animal, please get in touch with us BEFORE booking to see how we can accommodate.

SECURITY:
There are exterior security cameras in place for your protection. If you touch or tamper with the cameras you will be asked to leave the property immediately.

OTHER NOTES ABOUT OUR CABIN AND THE AREA:

There are some winding country roads in the neighborhood! Be aware and enjoy the drive.

Fall/Winter is lady bug and stink bug season in the mountains and these little bugs are attracted to heat and trying to get warm inside! You'll probably see some of them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Our cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. The bugs typically do come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please know you're immersing yourself in nature and that does come with some chance of bugs!

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home except the unfinished basement which is locked and not to be accessed.

You will be able to check in using a code on the front door which we hope provides ease and flexibility for all!

There is NO shared indoor or outdoor space. Guest will have access to the entire property.
