Did a last minute reservation on Orbitz on the road since the interstate closed due to an accident during a snowstorm. Booked a non-smoking king bed room. The room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke and had two full sized beds. The toilet seat was sitting on the floor next to the toilet and there was a big hole in the wall. Fortunately, got notification that the interstate had opened back up so we go out of there. Would rather sleep in my car.
Very noisy neighbors above and beside the entire stay. Something fishy going on there
Was on a quick overnight trip and did not want a high priced hotel. When we got to our nonsmoking room it smelled like a room that used to have been smoked and had been cleaned a few times. It did not have a remote for the TV and the sound on the TV did not work. We were moved to another room. The staff was very nice and helpful. Overall this was in my opinion a one star hotel. Not a 2 star hotel. The cost was higher than it should be for this type of amenities
Stayed 4 nights, At check-in management asked how I was paying when I stated I already paid on line, she had no clue what to do, check in took about 20 mins.she just finally gave me the room keys and said if she needed more information she would get back to me, The outside trash cans were running over with trash and did not get empty till the second day. The pool was green and not available for use, I found a bag of kid’s socks in the dresser on the first day took it to the office to turn it in and rang the bell but no one came. The cleaning lady came it the office so I gave the bag to her. The room was clean all four days but it needed repairs ie.. Bathroom door had hole in it and was broken could not close it all the way and the toilet was loose from the floor. On two of the days I had to ring the outside bell to get in to eat breakfast at 0615 and one day at 0645 there was no coffee, rang the bell but no one came to the desk. My experience at this hotel was not good but I think the problems I had there can be fixed real easy replace the management
The breakfast area (only cereal is offered) is very small right across from the front desk and door. The front desk area is small and uninviting. The front doors of the hotel rooms all open to the outside, no inside hallway. The worst thing was the washcloths, although clean, were old and gray and there should be no excuse for that. It was nice to have a small refrigerator.
Checked in and got to our room that was 2 doubles when we had reserved a king. Went back to the office and they claimed [...] did not pass that on to them and that is why I shouldn't reserve thru [...]. Then told me they don't have king beds. I asked them to call [...] and they claimed they couldn't due to privacy issues. I started to dial the number on the e-mail and then they suddenly found a king room that was available. Room was nice but as I told the clerk I would not have reserved the room there if the only choice was 2 doubles.
my family & I went to cherokee & to a family reunion in clyde for the weekend. the only thing I did'nt like about our room was all the lights did'nt work, there was never enough towels (there was four adults) & we had a smoking room without ashtrays
The hotel was convienent to the interstate so we could jump on and off to go to out destinations. The breakfast was a little disapointing but, mostly because there wasn't enough room to make it and enjoy it. The pool however was rather discusting. I don't think the water should look green. And although the rooms were clean, we did share the bathroom with a spider and an ant. (Might want to consider an exterminator) Also, we didn't really care that the exterior door by the bathroom and vanity opened to the outside parking lot. Had to make sure you were dressed if someone entered the room. I like the other way around where the bathroom is the furtherist part of the room away from the outside. I did like the fact that the rooms had 2 outside doors.

Pool was not filled, dryer door latch was missing and had to use cardboard to keep it closed so I could use. Staff non responsive to complaints.
