Parking, a bed, a shower , breakfast, near to the town, comfy , easy and near the bus station. when you have a bus pass what more could you ask. And such good value as well. Great stuff. Thank you YHA !

Nice centrally located hostel with good facilities. Unfortunately other guests spoiled my stay. But Canterbury is a lovely city, attended.the fesRival and also the Westgate tower which used to be a prison.

Very clean, Friendly staff, good location. We stayed for a couple of days and did days out in Kent (Margate for the Hornby visitors centre and Dymchurch for the narrow guage steam railway. Easy to get to from Canterbury. Good base for seeing Kent. Very good hostel.

Stayed one night at this lovely hostel and would gladly return. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I think the facilities (showers, toilets, kitchen) are quite recently done as they were clean and modern looking. The location is slightly out of town but still only 10 minutes walk and on the plus side this probably allows more parking spaces. As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and at ease. The road is quite busy so if you are a light sleeper maybe see if you can get a room at the back of the house, although it didn't effect me too much.

This has been a revelation to us. Very last minute booking on a Friday evening to join family in Whitstable on Saturday. Booking was no problem for three of us to hire one of the brand new wooden cabins with shower / toilet / Kettle / Fridge / Microwave and very comfortable beds. Following morning breakfast was superb. The whole stay is great fun and incredibly priced. Staff couldn't have done more both on our arrival at 10pm that night or at breakfast the following morning. Definitely booking again

A beautiful house just a short walk from the bus station. The dorms and bathrooms are absolutely spotless. The staff are friendly but very busy, so some prior information about ordering breakfast in advance and how to check out would be useful.

unfortunately i choose or was given a bed which in itself was comfy in itself but was next to a wall that shook and shook the bed ,due to having heavy fire doors,i have seen this problem before ,manager i think didn,t seem to care not able to allocate lower bunk, but overall ,okay, nice lounge, very good value, personally lacking in space in the shower

The location of this hostel is absolutely wonderful. An easy 15-20 minute walk to and from town centre and the train station. The building is really gorgeous and well-maintained. The lounge, bedrooms, and restroom were all neat and clean. The staff while I was visiting was extremely busy with a 40+ party of mainly kids, yet still took very good care of myself and the other solo guests. They don’t have a restaurant/cafe like other YHA’s, but they do offer pizza and other light refreshments which was just fine by me. The only criticisms I have are that the WiFi is a little shoddy, the bedroom windows are large and don’t lock, there is only one locking cabinet in the shared rooms (only one person can lock up their stuff), and the party of 40+ kids were up all night shaking the ceiling above me and talking so loud I could understand what they were saying. The last one isn’t the fault of the staff, but I do think that they should have been confronted about the obviously outrageous noise level. Although, it is a hostel so I can’t really complain too much. For a budget place to stay it really is a wonderful accommodation. Overall, I had a great stay. I felt like myself and my belongings were safe and well taken care of. The check out process is super easy as well. Had a nice time!

Can't say anything bad about the hostel or the staff. No issues with noise. Stayed in private room 1. Self catering kitchen very clean and well equipped. Breakfast in canteen was yummy! Fire doors do slam a little so there is some noise. Winter duvets on the beds was a bit over the top!

Stayed here one night, walking NDW to Dover. Booked a 4-bed private room for 2 adults, plenty of room to air everything including tents after a few nights camping. Toilets and showers were great, plenty of hot water at 18:00. Breakfast was great! about 1KM from city centre with Tesco Express nearby. VERY Helpful staff!
