The Neighborhood:
2nd Ave lies just off the main access road in and out of Canmore. The townhouse is perfectly placed for quick access by road to hiking and skiing in Banff National Park. Within a 5 minute walk you can enjoy the amazing French pastries at Le Fournil, an incredible meal at Crazyweed Kitchen or Ankor, or grab some freshly roasted coffee to take home from Eclipse Coffee Roastery. Supermarkets are a 5-10 minute walk, and downtown Canmore with its shopping and restaurant scene is a 10-15 minute walk from the condo. Directly opposite Ravens Peak is a walkway to take you across the railway line and straight to the supermarkets and then on to downtown.

Getting Around:
Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes (and skis) can be rented from Gear Up, a 5 minute walk across the street from the home.

Other Things to Note:
There are stairs in this unit, making it unsuitable for guests with mobility issues and/or small children. The furnishings and decor are very high end, so it is best to suited to adults and older children.

Raven's Nest

Lovely place and location. Noise travels through apartments, and our above neighbors were late and noisy. Had to move accommodation mad-vacation because the heating wasn't working the first night, which impacted a day in our scheduled activities. Beautiful views and cosy place.
