It was near everything, u wanted to do on island , clean your room every day
The rooms facing Av. Hidalgo were very noisy due to the loud music coming from the bars. After our first night, we changed rooms and it was much quieter. The rooms have a small kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and tableware. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Close to everything in downtown and Playa Norte. Good value for the money overall.
It was close to all the shops just walk out the front n your there
Rooms cleaned daily. A/C worked fine. Staff friendly and accommodating. One of the nights, we had hard rains overnight and we had a ceiling leak.
Sign in bathroom read "Do not flush toilet paper in toilet." Glass sliding doors had one flimsy lock on them. Pool was cute and staff was friendly, but we did not stay. This was too primitive for us. We walked down the street and booked an all-inclusive hotel and LOVED IT!
The location is great. Just a few steps to many restaurants and shops. Short walk to beach. The room was very simple. Air conditioner worked well.
A little difficult to find but is in a great location, staff very friendly and smell clean, had to ask for a blanket and pillows, ac sloooowly cool down the room
Even though it was on the same Street as bars and restaurants we were not disturbed by the noise. It was a good central position. Let down by the fridge not working and the toilet not flushing as it should. Smelt a bit of damp but they all do at this time of year in Mexico especially on the islands.
Very clean and friendly hotel. It is highly recommended. Guests keep coming back every year and staying one to two weeks. Staff is there 24/7. Kid freindly. Nice pool.
For the price we paid the location was Super! The staff was also Super and did whatever they could to make us comfortable and serve our needs. Hotel is located on main street but is buffered from the noise, so once in your room its quiet and relaxing. What I would improve on: Beds- the beds are hard and uncomfortable. We padded ours with 2 blankets we found in the closet and the staff was helpful with this but the management needs to invest in new mattresses. There was no bottled water there so you have to run across the street to the mini super and buy a jug of water, but that was fine. Room has a mini fridge and a microwave. Hotel provides beach towels at no charge and the wifi worked great!
I can see where this place would be a madhouse during season but off-season it was perfect. During the Mexican Independence day the hotel staff families and kids all came and used the pool so it was noisy. This is why I say it could be not so nice during season when it's full. We were about half full and that was perfect and quiet. On the main street but they close the doors and when you are by the pool or in your room you cannot hear any noise. The internet works most of the time. There is a nice refrig. microwave and some dishes in the room. Rooms are good sized. You have to buy your own water and bring it in but there is a mini super right across the street and your are only a few blocks from the grocery on the square. Friendly, honest tour guide salesman by the front door. he does not hassle you and he is honest Patrick is his name- I would buy excursions from him.
This is a great little budget hotel on the pedestrian only Hidalgo Ave. A short walk to North Beach and restaurants literally outside the lobby. Nice to have a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and some dinnerware. Also has a pool and lounge chairs. Each room has either a patio or balcony.
Our room was very satisfactory. We had a room upstairs (Hildago) It did get pretty loud late at night. But we still enjoyed the room.
Very clean, safe place to stay. Rooms were huge, but basic. Mini kitchen was a real plus. Staff was lovely. Set up around a courtyard with palms, grass and a pool. Nice mix of Mexican and international guests. Located on main street of Centro, so close to many restaurants and other businesses as well as the ferry to Cancun, but you'd never know it from the noise level once inside. This is not a "honeymoon" destination, but a quite adequate, good deal for the money place to lay your head.
This is a hotel close, close to the night life of Isle Mujerus. It is clean, comfortable and the staff was nice. Nothing really fancy but a great place to spend a few nights.
It's a pretty good hotel with pool and excellent wifi in the carter of town. Great value for the price.
Very clean rooms, nice swimming pool and interior courtyard for an evening cool down. In the midst of all the action, could hear street music till about 11 pm'ish, but could sleep fine, quiet otherwise. My room was very spacious, had all basic comforts, but chairs hard, more comfort there would have been nice. Staff is correct not overly warm nor able to give much info. Avoid during holidays like Easter, Xmas, full with local families, can get noisy. Otherwise a good place.
At first I thought this was not going to be the greatest of hotels. I soon changed my mind as this proved to be very good for my needs. The staff was courteous and the housekeeping staff kept the room clean. This is a no frills hotel but really there is very little reason to spend great amounts of time inside when visiting Isla Mujeres! Most of my time was spent with water sports like the Whale Sharks trip and scuba diving. The rest of my time was spent going to the many great restaurants on the strip just outside the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with similar needs.
