The front desk staff were not helpful. They didnt care about our discomforts! The AC unit did not work. Our entire 5 days we were hot. The only great thing were the pool activity mc's (gustavo & the girl) & the pool bartender ernesto!!!

I just got back from a girls trip to Cancun. I decided to book here, even though it had bad reviews because it was affordable and all inclusive. After reading so many negative reviews, I was not expecting a very nice place but upon arriving, I was pleasantly surprised. The check in took about an hour but they always take a while at other places, as well. When we got to our room, the AC worked just fine. In fact, we had to turn the AC to low at night because we were cold. I don't know if we got lucky or if some of the other visitors that left negative reviews nit pick at every single little thing. Our rooms were cleaned every day, the staff was so nice and helpful, the pool was nice, and the beach was beautiful. I would recommend making reservations to the nice restaurants because the food is really good, but if you can't get a reservation every day, the buffet had a nice variety of food, as well. This hotel has adult themed parties and activities every day and night. It is a great place to go with friends and have a fun time. I'm not saying that everything was perfect. The rooms are a little dated but if you want a fun atmosphere and an all inclusive on a beautiful beach then this is a good fit. However, if you are picky and like to complain about the little things, then go find yourself a fancy and expensive hotel. Also, I read some complaints about the beach closing early but it is for the safety of the sea turtles that come out at night and for your safety, as well!

We got not the room we were expected to receive only after arguments with the reception and talking to the the manger they were willing to change our room for a new and modern room with ocean view one more thing we didnt have runing water in sink shower and toilets due problem with the water system of the hotel

Upon arriving to the hotel checking in took a very long time around one hour and a half. After we were finally checked in we went upstairs to drop off our luggage and go to dinner. We were away from our room for about an hour when we got back to our room we noticed we had gotten some room service. We immediately checked our wallets because we were planning on going out and wanted to see how much money we had left. We were missing $120 we had to wait over two hours to get hotel staff up to our room for a report. After we filed the report we didn't get any status on it. The facilities were nice but the hotel staff was extremely disappointing.

The staff is not well trained, they dont have good processes and check in is very slow, no one appears to be in charge, no helpful at all. Left sunglasses in the safe, 4 hrs after checkout the hotel couldnt find them, nor were willing to look for them, they just dissapeard. On a positive note, once you are able to get a table in a restaurant, the food is good

Let me start off by saying..... We usually always give the hotel the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the reviews... The first day we got there the doorman was very delightful and always helpful. It was a pretty nice evening other than the air conditioning not cooling..... not cooling anywhere, not just in our room. Our pain started the second day. We came down to make reservations in the VIP Lounge at 7:00 am like we were told we would have to do in order to eat at any of the nicer restaurants. We made our reservation for the first available slot which was 8:30 pm. We get dressed and go to dinner to have our first nice meal at the resort and were told we did not have a reservation and could not be seated, even though there were on two couples seated in the entire restaurant. We went promptly to the VIP lounge to see what had happened and they told us that reservation was actually for the next day. The next day we go to the VIP lounge to make sure the reservation is good for that evening and they tell us that that particular restaurant is closed for July 4th and we could make another reservation for the next day. We upgrade to the Sin Kaan Club room to get extra service and it was terrible. We received less service than people without the upgrade. Another couple two doors down from us did not get the upgrade and just asked for an ocean view room and got a suite. You need to call everyday if you want your minibar restocked. Ice is pretty much non-existent.

There was nothing positive from this resort and I will just say that front Desk is HORRIBLE and the worst part! Never going back to this resort.

Spent much time at counter trying to get things fivefold, as did many others. Kept changing rooms because of problems with sir conditioning, TV not working, etc. Water all over hallways leaking from somewhere.

I've been to Cancun several times. I normally would let little things pass by. I've never written a bad review before but I feel like this is very important for other travelers to know. The service here is horrible! My family and I went to Cancun to celebrate my mom's birthday. These are the negative things about this hotel: 1. I asked if our rooms could be closer together and the front desk personnel's response right away was "No." No reasons given, just straight up NO. I let it pass because I didn't want to start our family vacation on a negative note. 2.Went to the room and the A/C was barely working. They never came to fix it. 3. Fridge was never restocked. Called front desk for more supplies, mainly for more water but no one picked up. We actually called several times throughout our stay and not a single person picked up. Several guests in the resort complained of the same exact same thing. 4. Most of the staff in the bars are not friendly at all. Would not even response when you say "thanks" or "thank you." Simply rude in some instances. 5. Renovations all throughout the resort! Exposed electrical components on the walls. Dripping water on the hallway floors and only covered with beach towels. Our hotel reservation was non refundable. Otherwise, I would have moved to a different hotel on our very first day.

arrived late on a Friday night. Woke up Saturday morning to a leak in the ceiling by the sink. Informed the front desk about it and they told us they would fix it. Had to go back to the front desk 2 more times and complain about it. The air conditioner did not cool the room well. Monday night we fell asleep and woke up around 3 am to use the bathroom and about fell. The ceiling was pouring water from the light above the toilet. The water was running down the wall and the toilet paper was wet. We informed the front desk about it. We were told that maintence would have to check it out, if it was going to take awhile we would change rooms. We had to check back at 10am. They changed out room. We did not have wifi in our room on the 3rd floor and after we went to the 7th floor we did. That was an inconvience also. We had to go to the main lobby for wifi. After we were put into the new room they shut the water off on us without any notice for a couple of hours.

The customer service is lacking, the room we stayed in was horrible. We paid for an ocean view room and we got a room pretty much at basement level our view consisted of a concrete wall with nice shrubs. The hotel would not change our room. They said there was nothing available. WIFI is only available in the lobby. The smoke detector in the hall continuously went off every night for 6 nights. 2 days of our stay we had no water, when we told them about it, the delay time in getting it fixed was over 5hours, We had no air conditioning on the last night we were there. House cleaning wakes you up at approximately 8:30 to 8:45 everyday. The workers start there day with the pounding around 6:30 everyday. It is not a place to go if you want to relax. What I will say is that housekeeping did a great job making sure our room was to the best it could be. My recommendation is do not stay here you will be disappointed. Read the reviews.

This is one of the worst hotels. Checking in took over an hour. We paid for an ocean view high floor, we got a basement view of concrete. They said they could not guarantee which room we got and there was no other rooms available. No air condition for a day, the smoke detector in the hall was continuously going off for 6 nights, we woke up on two different occasions with no water. One day they fixed it within 15 mins the next time it happened was the morning we were to leave at 5 am called down to the front desk was told there was a problem in our area would be fixed in 15 mins still no water, went down to the front desk they then said it would be another 40 mins. needless to say we left without showering. The workers started very earlier so you were never able to sleep. So with the smoke detector going off, them never replacing the condiments in the room, the workers starting before dawn, no air conditioning, water off and on, amongst other things I can honestly say DO NOT STAY THERE IT WAS THE WORST!

The hotel staff were great! Very helpful and friendly. It rained the whole time we were there and the roof leaked EVERYWHERE! There were buckets of water everywhere you looked. They were doing construction on the hotel, which we had no clue until We arrived, and they would work until mid night some nights and be there early in the morning. They were pounding and using saws. It's great that they are trying to improve the hotel because it is pretty run down, but they should let their guests know before they book there. I wouldn't stay there again.

Pros: Close to the airport, about a 15 minute drive. The pool is fabulous! Perfect temperature and had a wet bar you can swim to. They also do daily activities at the main pool (water volley ball, Zumba, trivia, they did lap dancing one day which was odd, but every day they have a few different activities) They don't really have a staff designated to serving drinks by the pool like the other resorts we've stayed at in the past, but we would always sit close to the bar and we always tip a few bucks here and there and thats when the bar tender would automatically make our drinks and bring them too us which was very nice! The food here is the best we've ever had (this is our third time in Mexico, first time to this resort) Coba buffet (breakfast) very fast service, they have the usual breakfast items and they even make you omelettes right in front of you. Coba buffet (dinner) always different food to choose from, one night they made burritos right for you and they were excellent. Muderme Mucho (lunch) they have an inside restaurant and an outside and both have different menus. Inside is a little more traditional food and outside is tacos and tortas. We chose to sit outside (this was our very first meal here when we arrived) we had bbq beef tacos, fajita tacos, and a beef in red sauce tacos and they were awesome! Also, they bring you chips and salsa and guacamole and it was the best guac I've ever had and I don't like guac. Moonlight (lunch) this is an italian restaura

Check in was very slow tried to move us to a different hotel once we got our room air conditioner did not work Wi-Fi very poor in room one night at flooded the crew work to clean it up the front desk didn't care management they were called to check on us be upkeep of the hotels very poor the plus was the waitstaff at most restaurants are very good The entertainment team did their best good night club team at night they're very good job the pirate ship was very fun and very organized very disappointed that management doesn't care more

First the Staff was great super friendly and cheerful. The hotel itself was a major disappointment, it needs alot of work. Our first day when we finally received our keys to our room we had no A\C, TV did not work and the room had an Ant infestation. We call the Grand Plus desk and they stated they would send someone up. The maintenance man arrived and was unable to resolve the issue with the AC and stated we would have to ask for a room change. When I contacted the Grand Plus desk again we were to told they were completely full and would have to wait until tomorrow. Day 2 we had to vacate the room in the morning and take our bags to the Bell Hops outside to hold until we could pick up our keys after 3pm. Once we got into our new room things were great until the AC went out the last couple of days of our stay. luckily it was cool in the evening so we managed to get by. The other issues was the food it was absolutely awful and took more than 30 mins to get your food if not longer. You could tell the workers were understaffed and as frustrated as we were. This hotel pictures are nice, but its not what you actually get.

beautiful beach fun all inclusive hotel
