Toilets in the complex were always broken But the repair people DID try to fix them.
Will never ever stay at this Hotel again. Hotel staff was SLOW!!!
We randomly selected this hotel for our honeymoon mostly because it was adults only and we wanted a fun place. They had daily activities at the pool with entertainers that kept us going all day with all kinds of fun events! When we checked in, Gerardo was so kind and helped us with an easy check in. Thelma on the 9th floor cleaned our room every day with a smile and organized our stuff. Thelma was amazing! Francisco, who helped us with our bags was extremely kind. He actually gave US money for the bus when we didn't have change on us. Of course we repaid him. The buffet was great and changed everyday. Daniel was one of the best servers I have ever had. There was also a cute boy who made our eggs perfect every day! We had soooooooooo much fun!
We searched all adult only resorts. Oasis Sens was our best choice. Our vacation was like a nightmare or a very bad movie. There were so many spring breakers there and they were just aloud to take over the whole place. We were there for 2 weeks there was very little security, even less at night. Between 3 am and 5 am there were bad things happening on all of the floors. Furniture being thrown over balconies, glad being broken in the hallways, screening girls, fighting, boys crying. The buffer had wonderful food, music about 5 times too load which really got the drink kids to be even louder, drunk kids were being rude to the service worker and sleeping at the tables. The bar was over run by kids, way over drunk, the was no help for the bartender, I don' believe it was their job to be babysitters for drunk kids coming to the lobby bar with no shirts on, sleeping at the. peeing on the floor, sitting on all the chairs with wet suits on so that when we came up at night, dressed, we had to sit on wet chairs if we even could get a chair. Drunk kids trying to pick fights with older people. I could go on and on with examples. I would not ever go back there even if it was not spring break. I sure it wasn't the hotel people' falt but the higher ups. They were actually blaming it on the travel agents for over booking. They had 3,4,5 kids in rooms that only had 1 bed. There was no organization and very, very little security
I was there for 4 days/ 3 nights and had to use my US cell roaming service provider for 3 days. Very dissapointing. The room with ocean view I booked was changed to garden view/ lagoon at check in and I had to ask the front fest to honor my request. The barbecue restaurant near the pool is a joke, bland food and grease.
The resort was run down. The staff didn't seem like the guest were Important. The food was so so, and wasn't available enough. You were able to get anything to go and it took forever to get anything. The swim up bar was so separated and small. barely use. Benny the wait staff was excellent. The breakfast and breakfast staff were great!! water and beach were great.
Very nice hotel staff. The hotel itself could use a bit of maintence but if you're gonna be like me and barely be at the resort, it's perfect. The pool was great and food was eh. But overall, great experience. Would recommend.
It is nice place but some worker There are bad worth coustmer. Some stuff u Hanna pay fort. It is normal not for adult it could be for family. I do not like it and some people there told me same thing. There activate not good. More over there are free shows they do not tell u about it u have to ask. They will not tell u
Great staff , great guest I had such a great time
This was our 2nd trip in the Sian Ka’an level. We bought an airline and hotel package as I feel it is a better deal. Check in and out was quick. Room service was quick and the food was good. Our room, 859, in comparison to our first trip in room 298 was less run down. The lower floor room the tile was wearing away and there was more rust in the room. The bed soft and comfortable. The lighting in the room is good. The bathroom lights are dim, there is a light on the makeup mirror. The service was always quick and accommodating. We found that the upgrade was nice if the other bars were busy the VIP bars were always quicker. The breakfast buffet was great, big shout out to the omelet chef excellent service! Don't miss dining at Benazuza or the Black Hole. The Sushi Bar was a nice surprise. Lizette at the Sian Ka’an Beach bar was always cheerful and welcoming. Never felt unsafe in the hotel. Be aware that the beach is public and there are vendors selling illegal drugs which could run you into trouble with police and security. The pool on the lagoon side of the hotel is very laid back - great for relaxing. The exception to this is the foam party. This hotel does allow topless at all the pools. When we were there it was very small amount of ladies partaking. We had a wonderful time, felt it was clean and welcoming, the staff as a whole were nice and attentive. The food was excellent and abundant. The beach was beautiful and you just can’t beat the weather.
Pool Beach perfect Staff friendly Check in was easy
Upon arrival things were smooth. I wish the staff checking us in would advise that our room was right next to their kinky lounge floor where you can hear every bass and beat drop so loud until 2am. Advising us of this would have been nice and we could have requested right at the moment. We have tours booked early in the am so fed wanted to get some rest but couldn't until 2am when the music was over. When we went the next day to request a change of the room, they said they an do it the next day as no rooms were available. They asked us to have our luggage ready and place it upfront and when we return from the tour , we just need to check in for our keys and they would have moved out bags for us. Great, I am excited for that. When we returned from our tour, their guest service agent said we did don't advised them about our tour and they waited for us all day and that no change to the room can be done. So it was too late. I was really really upset that point where I am positive that I had communicated this to their guest services in the morning and this is why he had asked us to have our luggage at the front early morning. Why would have taken our luggage out to begin with?! At this point, They said because we didn't show up hey couldn't move us... Since we had one more night, we figured f it I guess we can bare one more night of it. Then there wa sa thunderstorm and our room was lightly flooded.... Good thing we had enough towels to use. Making reservations seems like no luck.
room nice. needs more staff. waiters by pool. hard to get drink. needs more buffets...fastErin service
This place had all the swingers in full on play. Disgusting. Rude wait staff, no service, the food sucks. Will never go back.
The beach is very nice. Lots of stairs and steps throughout the whole resort, even in the pools and swim up area. Some great service, some not so great. Reservation restaurants were impossible to get a time, heard this from many people. They need to open a buffet for lunch. More bartenders at bars, they were lacking staff. Food was good. Swim up bar is not well thought out at all.
We tried a new resort for this visit to Cancun. We have been to several. The lobby, pools, beach were beautiful and exceptionally clean. They were constantly cleaning. Spa was a favorite of mine I had several wonderful massages. We were blessed with exceptional room. We purchased the Sia' Kian package. The Sunset off our spacious deck was incrediable! The food was a challenge at best. It was very hard getting lunch around the pool. The service was shockingly slow. (At least 5 times we waited for food over an hour). There are also a lot of steps - not a major issue but you need to know of the walking. We read trip advisor and planned ahead -I am shocked at the consistent comments about the food and with the competition of resorts they don't address this! I really thought people were being finicky- but they really need to address the problem. The staff worked by hard and tried hard to please. Maybe a little short staff. But I may return - however my husband said the food was too much a an effort o pared to other resorts.
Sian Kaan rooms are THE way to go....with that clear wristband you can go anywhere & do anything...its awesome!!! food at ALL places was FANTASTIC...really loved the MOONLIGHT & the COBA the best! Sakura was weird & very small portions(ordered room service when we got done with our dinner=room service food is really good)...had reservations for the Black Hole but our excursion was behind all day so didn't make it back in time(not hotels fault)!! drinks were AWESOME & PLENTIFUL...dirty monkeys, superman, banana mamas, pina coladas,margaritas....all were deliscious...in the VIP Lounge you get top shelf so I was drinking Barcardi & Diet cokes! got drunk on tequila shots the 1st night! lots & lots of beds & beach chairs....if you want a certain spot get up early to save it....if being anywhere on an AMAZING beach is ok with you just throw your towel where ever you want on the sand! our favorite spot was the Shillabar Pool....kinda a quiet area but still had 2 bars with some really cool pool chairs!!!! we are very very happy with our overall experience & will definetly be back in the near future!!!!
We booked this resort not knowing what to expect and we're pleased with staff, service, entertainment and location! The only thing I have to criticize are the guests who get beyond drunk and make fools out of themselves. As long as you isolate yourself from that, you'll definitely enjoy what this resort has to offer! Also, thank you for decorating our room for my birthday! It was a lovely added attention!!!
The staff and the cleanliness is where you have to start, the people that work here are nothing short of amazing. The property is lovely and the view cannot be had anywhere else in Cancun. Go see Ernesto at the swim up bar, he sets the vibe perfectly! The bars don't open until 10 and 10:30, that seems late when you have been at the pool since 9, no biggie. Overall they do a decent job with the drinks and will serve you in as big a cup as you bring; hint, hint, pack the bubba cups. Now the dining, the buffet is great with a new main course daily and plenty of helpful staff. The poolside burger and sandwich place is very good, there is a small Italian restaurant that is also pretty decent but that is it folks. The Mexican restaurant is painfully slow, 2 hours slow. The sushi restaurant near the pool looked decent but we were not willing to wait for a table and they would not let you order it to-go. The biggest disappointment, forget about any of the restaurants that require reservations, those were 100% booked before we arrived. No really, checked in and went to the desk...nope nothing available. Spoke to another guest and they had made their reservations 2 weeks before arrival. The Mediterranean we tried to reserve, no we are a first come and wait list. We went early and no can't wait list until we open, they opened at 6, at 6:10 we went to get on the wait list, nope booked for the rest of the night...WHAT?! This is a challenging property to eat at unless you want the buff
We just got back from a long weekend at Grand Oasis Sens. I had my bar set low already, but I would definitely not return. Everything was just OK. The wait for the food was really long, and even though it's advertised that there's many 'restaurants' we ate in the buffet for every meal except one because you cannot get a table anywhere. We realized on the third day that you need to line up at 5pm to get reservations for that restaurant that night, and seating is in 4 sessions (630,730,830,930pm). Otherwise, you're eating at the buffet. Long lines for food everywhere! Even something simple like chicken fingers at the beach grill took over an hour every time. The drinks are mediocre. We're pretty sure everything is watered down (seems to be a pattern across all of cancun). Stick with beer it's the only thing that's real. Overall condition of the hotel needs improvement but it looks like they are working on it. The rooms were nothing special, but we weren't in the room a lot so it didn't really matter. Toilets don't flush though. If you're already booked to stay here, try to hang out at the grand oasis pyramid if you can. We got a transfer pass (free) and took the bus down. The resort was way nicer than ours and had a lot more going on. Last note is that none of the staff seems to know what is going on. If you go to a restaurant and get declined and ask for the next nearest (open) place, no one seems to know anything. This resulted in us getting the run around a lot!
