I loved it! It is small and quaint with very large rooms, with views that you will never grow tired of. Serene and Chris and really all the staff are so friendly and helpful that you feel like family when you’re there. I cannot wait to go back!!!

Was only given 2 small water bottles with extra charge for more water if we had asked. The place was Dodggy, couldn’t close the Room curtains properly. Curtains were joined together with Pegs. No one available after 11pm on-site at Reception. The food is good at Restaurant but a little expensive. Limited breakfast options to choose from Menu. This place is only sold for the water view, better to go around to enjoy the views.

Was a big beautiful bedroom. I could not enjoy the jacuzzi. But next time I will. Selena was a charming lady. Chris was an excellent manager. We could not stay more time. But I coming soon. Same hotel. I highly recommend it. It is true to its name. Casa de Los Suenos.

The property is gorgeous, the staff are accommodating, the setting is lush, their restaurant delicious.

The staff was so very friendly. The pools were fantastic.

Location is perfect, food was great.. best place to stay in Isla mujeres.

Great views, excellent staff. The rooms were well decorated and comfy but being in a different country you have to be patient with the hot water not always working great. The views and staff make up for it. Very personable since it was a smaller boutique hotel unlike large resort hotels where you are just one amongst the crowd. They work hard to make you feel welcome at Casa de los Sueños.

Beautiful boutique hotel overlooking the ocean. Nice & small with only 10 rooms. We enjoyed the location, on the south side of the island. The front desk staff we’re very helpful. My husband and I had a fantastic stay.

First impression when we walked in the lobby: the beautiful pool that we remembered from years' past was drained and dry. All day, every day we were there, workers were chipping paint off the sides with dull hatchets and breaking up concrete with demo hammers. Potable water is trucked in and pumped into a tank leaving a huge mess in the hallway that leads to the restaurant and lower pools. AC didn't work one night and no water at all one day. I didn't remember this gem from the last trip, but apparently you can't flush toilet paper due to the delicate septic system on the island, so you are supposed to throw used toilet paper in the trash can beside the stool. Even with good timing, you are going to live with the stink until room service shows up. On the fourth day of our stay, they didn't show up until after 5 (when we were getting ready for dinner). The upstairs bar is shut down, so if you want a drink, you can walk down 2 flights of stairs and switchback paths to the restaurant to get it. They have closed the room that had the computer (it's empty - but that's where you can find the front desk person sleeping if you need them). They also got rid of the handful of items for sale at the desk (like sunscreen, toothpaste, etc.). The new owners opened up the bar to anybody, so some nights you get the drunk idiots from north beach who just want to drink, yell and puke. Although you can't wreck the beautiful view, they sure do make it harder to enjoy.

Loved ever minute. No TV in the room, but did not miss it. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a great one. Jerry the bartender "loves his job" and you can tell. Only issue is the bottom sheets did not fit and bunched up in the night. Your going to do a lot of up & down hill walking to the restraint & bar.

Our room was Sol (Sun) and was one of the few rooms that opened right onto the upper pool though I think all rooms have an ocean view. The lobby area is wonderful with a sunken pit area with comfy cushions and gorgeous pillows that were super inviting on a heavy rain day. Early coffee available there. Don't forget to check out the free library. The room was very good sized, had a great bed and creatively decorated. They don't scrimp on anything here. On arrival they showed us our room fridge full of free sodas and beers. Who does that?!! And when we left early to catch the ferry they arranged for box lunches since it was too early for us to get their full complimentary breakfast. I'm a Human Resources Director and whoever is staffing this place - reception, restaurant and free kayak/smirking gear etc-- is doing a great job of it. Special kudos to Hakin and Rose who are standouts!! They don't make a big enough deal about free access to the water park right below. It's a cool thing. All the water sports gear is free and good quality. Even though their isn't a sandy beach the water is pretty shallow for a ways so I noticed kayakers having an easy time getting in and out of their boats. Be sure to swim out a very short distance and lay on the huge floating pad. There's a long dock and they station someone at the end when guests are in the water. We left thinking they had thought of everything to make this place great--right down to having clips for the blackout curtains!!

here are facts and you decide. staff was excellent just ask and they will do it. food was fantastic like having your own chief. facilities clean and well run. the hotel is across a service road or back street that you have to cross to get to the water. where other places are on the water. they entertain, they had a super bowl party one night. a fun raiser the following day. and the public can pay to use the facilities we enjoyed our stay but would pick something more exclusive and private next time
