In fairness I did not contact their office. I am 5’2 and the bed was quite high making for difficulty to get in. The shower water kept going to cold, we had to keep jingling the handle to get warm water. The air jets to the tub kept going on during the night sounding like a vacuum cleaner. The deck lights were on all night making the room bright even with the blinds shut, light coming across the bed. When we thought it would’ve nice to sit out on the private deck, we found it , the chairs and table covered in Pigeon dropping.

Dogs are allowed and there was a small grassy area near by to walk the dogs. Very close to town.

We loved the vies. The room was astonishingly beautiful and we loved the pancake maker!! When we return to Maine for another getaway, we will definitely be coming back to this hotel!

We had an amazing time and stay! Clean rooms, beautiful view and walking distance to Main Street:) Thank you!! We hope to visit again soon!

This hotel is new and very well kept. Its condition and service overall is excellent!

Nice, clean, quiet comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Staff was so kind to have breakfast ready for us by 5:30 am so we could get on the road early. I would stay here again.

My mattress felt like it should have been replaced many years ago, very uncomfortable . Our room was in a wing furthest from the main building so the wi-fi signal couldn't reach us so no wi-fi.

Don't think that because you book a certain type of room you will get it. The room I booked was not what I was given. I called the front desk and they switched me to a different room. He said it was an "upgrade" but we went from a little balcony looking over the ocean to about a foot space to see the water. Ended up going back to the original room. The heat took a long time too to kick in. The room was cold but finally warmed up after about 12 of the heat turned up as high as possible. The room was clean though.

Everything was great except the room was too hot (for us). We turned the heat off when we checked in at lunchtime and the room was still close to 70 while we slept that night. Yes, we could’ve turned on the AC, but didn’t think it’d reach the sleeping area down the hall (and it felt odd turning on the AC when there was snow on the ground).

My family and I just spent one night at this hotel on our way to Acadia National Park. The room was so spacious, extremely clean and there was a very nice breakfast. My kids enjoyed the pool. The location is across from the Harbor and convenient to the boat trips. We couldn't stop talking about this place the rest of the trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The building itself is old and the halls are very narrow. Our room was extremely clean and the dining facility was comfortable and clean. My first impression was that I wasn't going to like it, but after getting into our room it was very clean and comfortable. Great location and very good price for what you get.

Location was great- hotel itself ok. (Only full size beds, small tv, missing remote , dated)
