We booked an oceanfront room 6 months before our stay. We received an email the day before our stay stating they had a structural problem and were moving us. We were way up the hill. Seems to me someone who booked 6 months ahead should get preference as to where they would be located. The room was very small and the bathroom was extremely small. When we turned the water on we got soaked as it splashed everywhere. There were very few electrical outlets. I seldom give a review, but we were very unhappy.

Ocean was visible from the porch. The beds were comfy. The shower needs to be redone. Old shower panels and shower head. The space was also small. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This was a room not a cabin and not the room shown in the advertisement. Breakfast was good but lacking in variety Hope the new owner will up date a bit. Would stay there again.

The cottage we stayed in was quiet, beautifully finished and felt like the perfect quiet retreat. We loved the pebble beach and the ocean views from the property. We watched the sun rise from our bedroom window, it was perfect. The bedding was super soft and the cottage was warm and cosy. My only regret is that we only stayed for one night!

We just want to thank you for a very nice stay this past week. Your hospitality was fantastic, and Mark deserves much of that credit! His morning popovers and muffins were a great morning treat as well. The ocean view can't be beat. The chairs and picnic tables are a great addition to the landscape, allowing folks to simply relax and enjoy the view. Our only suggestion: It would be nice to have both the porch lights and fireplace be available until 11pm. I believe there was a fix in progress for the lights timing issue. Thanks very much for making our stay such a pleasure. We will surely stay here again!

What a pleasant stay at a quaint little inn! We arrived late one evening, but Holly was so very accommodating. The homemade popovers at breakfast were warm and delicious. Book this stay. You won’t be disappointed!

Clean, quiet location. Great views and outside seating areas. Friendly hosts. Just 2.5 miles up the road from Camden. Very convenient.

We’re going back some day

Loved our stay here. Location by the water was in easy reach of activities in the state park, on the water, and in the historic “big city” of Camden. Our helpful hosts, Holly & Mark were delightful (as were the breakfast baked goods). Lots of different room types available reflecting the development of the property over the last century. I look forward to seeing where these proprietors take it going forward.
