The location can't be beat. Right downtown, walking distance to anything you'd like to do. Parking provided on site. Beautiful view from the balconies on the back side. Breakfast was enjoyable. I was worried about potential noise from outside from the roof deck above and the restaurants surrounding but was quiet as a pin in the room. Overall we had a great stay.

Room was stunning and staff was just amazing! We will definitely be back

Overall the hotel was really nice and comfortable. The first two nights I had to complain to the front desk a couple of times due to the noise from the people partying at the room across from us. The front desk said they would take care of it but after the second time calling I gave up. After, the second night and they checked out it was much peaceful. We ate at the breakfast bar only once due to them having the same breakfast items every morning. The rooms were great and the beds were very comfortable. Camden is a beautiful small town with plenty of shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Stayed in downtown Camden. Walked everywhere. Hotel just amazing!

Nice hotel and well located in the Center of Camden, near everything. I booked through Orbitz and as a result incurred a $15/day parking fee that the front desk person said would not have been imposed if I had booked direct with them. That was a bummer. While Camden was nice, it was very compact and a l-o-n-g way up north to go for a taste of Coastal Maine. I prefer Southern Maine (the Yorks and Kennebunkport) to traveling all the way to Mid-Coast. Southern Maine does get more people because of its proximity to Boston, but is has more things to do and see and is quite pretty. There really isn't much to do/see in Camden and Rockland/Rockport after about 2 days, and Bar Harbor is a good distance further north (and also gets overrun with people from cruise ship). It all depends on what appeals to you. All of that said, 16 Bay View is well run, very clean and comfortable and seems to be one of the very nicest in Camden.

This hotel is beautiful! The staff is friendly and the rooms are amazing. My husband and I will be back for sure!

What a wonderful place, from the staff, to the room, to breakfast. The bed, the fireplace, the bathroom...oh my gosh, you don't want to leave the room. The hotel is in the harbor area with great restaurants and shops. Will definitely be back!!

16 Bayview is a fantastic property in the middle of downtown picturesque Camden Maine. It has a spectacular roof top lounge overlooking the harbor. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and the staff is top notch.
