Staff was wonderful! Wished there were more options for eating (and the market place stayed open later), since you are quite secluded. Lots of onsite recreational opportunities and amenties (besides restaurants). They are under construction, so it was a bit noisy. Hope to be able to visit and see the completed renovations...sure they will be great!
We went to this hotel for my wife's birthday. It was being renovated and we were not told that in advance. No air conditioning (yes, it does get quite warm in Canada), no ice maker, no laundry facilities, all of which had been advertised as amenities. Plus we were awakened almost every day during our stay by heavy equipment being operated right outside our window - this at 7 am, and we were on vacation. The hotel's response to our complaints was to give us a bottle of wine (we don't drink) and earplugs. EARPLUGS! We were also told to leave our window open at night to compensate for the lack of air conditioning.
Pleasant stay. Large hotel complex which is not really my style of accommodation. They do a good job for the experience they are delivering .
This trip exceeded my expectations, mostly because the hotel gave us an upgrade to an executive suite with a jacuzzi. The hotel is in a remote location in the mountains. It was good we brought some food and snacks since the restaurants are very expensive and not that attractive. But the hotel rooms are great with amazing views, nice linens, etc. We had a small fridge in our room which was nice.
The hotel was great. Every afternoon we had complimentary appetizers. My only complaint is we could have gotten the room cheaper booking direct with hotel..
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt we found our new hotel to go to. Friendly staff and awesome room. Signature rooms are the way to go!!
Planned a nice evening get away for my husband's birthday. When we arrived, we were upgraded to their Signatory suite with a king bed and was informed the whole section was recently renovated. The room was very nice as well as the big shower. Arriving in January, we could not get the heat to warm up fast enough in the cool room. I was disappointed to find out that only one family restaurant and the pub was the only place open for any meals or drinks. I had anticipated a nice evening in the lounge and a nice dinner at the Italian restaurant. I have stayed here only once before and all restaurants were open. I guess it all depends on the season and when you arrive.
I was really disappointed with the service this trip. We checked in Saturday and was told all children gift bags were given out (how is that possible on a FAMILY day weekend). They were booked for childrens events by the Friday arrivals leaving nothing for the rest of us. The water in my bath was YELLOW!!! So disappointed. Not at all what I would expect from Delta.
