Our room was clean and quiet, other than an issue with our air conditioning unit making a buzzing noise whenever the cool air would start (particularly noticeable at night). The room had a few inconvenient issues, such as the main lighting which is placed in an awkward location, so that the bulbs are not far above your head/face if you're on the hotel bed. We tried to use the stand up lamp instead, however it didn't work. The makeup mirror light also didn't work, which made getting ready a bit dim in the bathroom. There are no outlets between the beds as many hotels now do, so my phone had to be charged out of reach which made checking the time a hassle in the morning, (the digital clock time was wrong and I didn't take the time to fix it). None of these issues were major, just not what we expected from a high star hotel. We also booked with 4 guests for 2 nights, but we're only given 3 towels and had to request extra. It wasn't a bad stay, but we would likely look for something with more mindful touches next time we're in Calgary. Staff members were friendly and our kids enjoyed the pool.

I wasn’t there long and I just needed a bed to sleep on. The guy at the desk when I checked in was super awesome. He was still there when I left in the morning! The room was really nice; I was actually sad I had to leave the bed.
