Quiet hotel in Cairo but double booking!!!

Ok I've got mixed opinion this stay. I don't know what happened either Hotels.com or this hotel did over booking. So they moved me " A sister hotel" However the sister hotel was in very very bad state, didn't like sister hotel!!! Infront of my room dirty laundry was piling up! The room smelled bad too. I was really unhappy but at least they tried. Then They moved me to the original hotel I booked. Newly renovated rooms etc, But not enough plugs. I had to move a fridge myself to reach the plug point. The soap dish was already broken, masking tape was still on the bathroom door. Dust and hair everywhere ect. But remember this is Egyptian standard. Also I paid before the stay but took them ages to confirm me. I normaly don't complain but it was really bad.

Nice centrally located hotel.

Nice location,at Tahrir square. The hotel is on the 3rd and 4th floor of a building so look carefully to find the entrance which is not very obvious. Very friendly staff,clean,modern rooms. Comfortable beds. The only thing is that it's a bit noisy since its at the busy square so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Would definitely recommend the hotel though. Safe area!
