I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2017 and I found it different and quirky. The first room we had was on the 15th floor and over looking the river. Really large room actually more like a suite with a sofa and tv in separate area. But just too noisy to sleep with the Mosque, party boats on the river and road traffic. Egyptians love the horn! Quirky? I'll explain. The phone wasn't working and wasn't even connected when I checked and the tv was showing only local channels. On investigation I discovered "My friend... There is a trick to get tv working!" 🤣😂🤣. In fairness I thought this was funny. Like I said quirky.. Egypt is funny.. We asked and were moved to another room with no issues, away from the river this time on the 15th floor and it was fine. Also large. The staff were brilliant and very helpful, taxis were right there. Great location with cafes right outside which were serving really good food actually. I enjoyed sitting drinking and smoking shisha pipe watching the locals. All in all would I stay there again? Probably yes but also no only due to wanting to explore more of Cairo. Yes- The furniture is old but I liked the old style, yes the wifi is weak but it was clean and had plenty hot water, I felt safe with guards on the door so for the money and location give it a couple nights- it's quirky ! Try it...

A quit place and it was very nice stay at this hotel for 2 days : 1- good quality of food and diversified 2-the staff here were friendly and genuinely nice and helpful 3- nice rooms in terms of dimensions for family but needs some renews Overall good to have a good stay with family in such hotel at Cairo

the general manager calls me and offer sex to me directly and when i told him that iam american women he didnt give attention horribly experience i dont suggest it for women the hotel is room for pleasure gulf citizens its completely not suitble for women so so bad

Place well located with a view of Nile River. The hotel was property of a really famous singer you can even see the original radio and furniture she used. The place has a guard and turist police 24/7. If you leave the hotel they will ask for a taxi if you need and take some the license plate and driver indentification to make sure you are secure. But Uber works in Egypt so you won't be scam by the drivers. The room were clean, very nice infrastructure the one thing I didn't like was the smell a smoke.but in Egypt most of guys smoke, so will be hard to avoid it. Front desk were nice all the time with us. Even if they didn't understand what we were asking they will try to figure out and help you as much the can. I'm very happy to stay there and socialize with the people around there. I will go back again.

The rooms are spacious. Great views from wide balconies. Very good Cairo location in Zamalek across the road from the Nile and short taxi ride to city. BUT! The service is crap. It is as though no-one wants to be there. The doormen are grumps. The reception staff couldn't give a rats. The housekeeper tried but maybe just wasn't on her game. Good value but don't go looking for service.

Location is good, it's in Zamalek. Down the hotel are cafes, restaurants, and a nearby grocery store. We're upgraded during our stay. However, the bathtub was leaking when we're using it. Furnitures are a bit old.

Front desk staff is very friendly , very responsive. Rooms and toilets are dusty , electricity is very weak , I had trouble charging my phone and tablet battery , room electricity circuit is sometimes cut in the morning. Strongly recommend rooms on 15th or 16th floor , the first floor options have better views but were very cold and noisy as there are close to the street. The location of the hotel is very convenient , it offers no breakfast but there is Metro hypermarket behind it , good coffeeshops , restaurants and bakeries nearby , so its a good deal.

I had read some disappointing reviews of the place, so was very pleasantly surprised to find a really nice, friendly hotel. It was clean, spacious, has lots of character, and fantastic views out over the Nile. Well it did from my room, I paid a bit extra to get a Nile view, and I got a big balcony on the 15th floor which was fabulous to sit out on overlooking the river. The bedroom was very spacious, there was also a separate 'living room'. The 15th floor also had a huge lobby, with sofas to chill out on. The staff were helpful and I would definitely stay there again, as opposed to the pricier and more generic chain-hotels places nearby. It isn't 5* it could do with a lick of paint, but was perfect for my trip. You do get the noise of the call to prayer quite loudly in the night, but that is part of staying in a Moslem country.

I have visited this hotel two days ago , first I would like to thank front office employees Yousef and Yousra for their support and understanding also the thanks is connected to duty manager Kamal. the hotel location is great , in the heart of beautiful island of Zamalek , the furniture and facility are very poor and need to be renovated . as promised form duty Manager Kamal they have started to renovated the hotel and he promised that it is going to be one of the best. I hope they work for the hotel facilities to meet the high quality as their employees

Location is beautiful at the river side in Zamalik island, Reception is warm and welcome, people are helpful, But anything else needs attention such as curtains, bath, bed, table and chairs in the balcony, cleanliness. It shouldn't priced as 4 stars. USD 86 per night for two persons is quite a lot.
