Was in Egypt for an exhibition. stayed in this property for 5 days. nice property, clean and big rooms. service was good. best part its adjacent a mall. plenty of shopping and food options. variety of food to eat. staying here next time i am in cairo
Thats my first visit to Egypt and also my first experience with American Express. This is something i can encourage everyone to make. Interesting, safety and the most important thing very helpful , it will be a real honor and pleasure for me to come back and choose again Holiday Inn Cairo. Thanks again for your kindness, your help and your welcome.
The people in the hotel were very friendly. My room was always clean and the best part of my trip was staying here. The kids loved the hotel so much they did not even want to go out to the mall next door. Although the room was a little tight but it was perfect for us. The only thing that surprised me was the charge for using the regular telephone to make a local call. We ended up paying over 600 L.E. Next time use your mobile phone. Thank you Holiday Inn Citystars!
This is the second time I visit this hotel in less than 2 month, the location is perfect as it's close to city star mall, the service in general is good, they let me check in early at 10Am, Osama was very helpful, confortable bed but the rooms are small and old, it don't worth 153 $ per night without breakfast ,
Once again it is related to expectations, I booked this hotel for a medical conference I had to attend in the nearby sister hotel intercontinental cairo city stars. I booked holiday inn as it offer lower rate than the intercontinental, actually I didn't expect much more than a place to spend my night as I planned to spend most of time at the conference, yet this hotel service and staff performance was a surprise for me actually. Location: Holiday inn is located in one of the cairo's most popular and famous hot spot "city stars", offering a direct access to this big shopping and entertainment mall next door in Nasr City. Check inn: PERFECT, very professional staff under supervision of a young pretty supervisor who are very welcoming and don't spare an effort to give all information and help to me, she offered me a superior room upgrade and offer me all discounts they have during this period. Room: Superior room is simple, large, elegant and offering all needed amenities, I like it. Activities: They have a pool area yet it's closed during winter, they have gem yet unfortunately they don't have a spa,so this is their weak point. You will spend most of time in the nearby shopping mall city stars, with all shops, cafe, restaurants, kids areas and cinemas. The hotel had a small nice cafe offering some entertainment during night with a really nice shisha. Check out: smooth Recommendations: A very nice small hotel with perfect location, the very imminent point in this hotel is the very helpful and polite staff. I really appreciate their efforts. Strongly recommend
I arrived in holiday Inn city stars at 10:50am for business meeting in the lounge I came to concierge gentleman with out a name tag !! I went back I asked him again are sure this the lounge he said YES !!,, I told him it's closed and dark he said yes it's closed !!! :) Seriously dude you sending to place which is closed !? That what I've said in my mind. However he point me again with rude go to reception to ask !? I went to reception two gentlemen they were to nice and polite however they couldn't helped me out. So I went again to the man with no name tag I asked him,,,, but before I ask my question her shout to me with unprofessional way I told go there don't come to me again ?! After I finished my meeting after my friend point to me in lobby. I went to bellman I asked about his name he just told me Mr Sheimmy. I been traveling many places I stayed in different brands Aloft Abu Dhabi, W saint Petersburg and intercontinental festival city Dubai seriously I never saw that kind of services it's unbelievable standard how could someone standing without name tag and very rude like Shiemmy ! Very disappointed experience by IHG :(
Extraordinary accommodation, we booked night and breakfast, enjoyed every bit of it. Rooms have al you need: good bed, excellent shower and towels, wifi, tv, miniBar, A.C.... All personnel, at each level, is well traind, and make your staying an extraordinary experience. They don't mind changing your bed each day, if you don't leave the slip on it, telling them to do otherwise. If you forget electric adaptor or a shaving blade, they'll fix you up in minutes. The restaurant has an excellent variety of food, for any taste...even benedicte egs if that's what you fancy. Just a suggestion for your water supply in your room, go outside the hotel, make a left, at the corner across the street, go to Zidan minimarket, get a 12 bottle box/1.5 liters and you are set, it'll cost you only 2$ plus a few EP tip to the guy helping you to bring it at the hotel lobby. Don't bother fighting your way with arranging sights tours, ask at the concierge desk in stead, they offer nice packages, comfortable treatment and good quality, price wise, confortable transportation and with expert tour guides in many languages. We expecially enjoyed dealing with Concierge Clerk, Mr. Akram Saleh; he is extremely kind and helpful, willing to help you. If you want to tip him, he'll refuse, so you must insist to make him accept, but you'll know, you want to express your appreciation to him!
I stayed here as usual... the hotel is adjacent to citystar mall gate 6... it is amazing... the staff is friendly and provide great help. They upgrade my room. They have "to do service" which is one click on the phone and ask for your needs. I recommend this hotel for your stay in Cairo... the value of the price you pay is worth to the services you got.
This is my third time stay here and again they prove to be very efficient for a business trip. Great location and friendly staff. Clean and tide up rooms. Very welcoming and suitable for short trip. Breakfast buffet still needs to be better. I highly recommend it for business trips to Cairo.
This is my first time at this hote. We stayed for 4 days. Hotel overall is very convient, cosy room, good service, location, food. There are one five star hotel next to it which have the connecting door to the mall. I don't see why I have to pay so much when I have this nice holiday inn with a very good price. One thing that I have to mention is the noise which comes from the main road from the honking cars. Other than that I will definitely go bck to holiday inn. Thank you Salwa
