the hotel is nice, the location is very good and the service is very good, but it has no activities to do indoor, so it is good choice if you are engaged with plans i the city. the rooms are clean and food is good, and location is close to everything in downtown.

This small hotel in Zamalek area is indeed a very nice one, if you are seeking an ultra luxuries and fancy hotel then its not this one, but it is a very cozy, clean and comfortable hotel. I stayed in the panorama executive room and it was excellent. The only downside to this hotel is that it doesnt include a parking space.

Friendly staff Good service The best team ever Nice Nile view Delicious breakfast Clean rooms Helpful and friendly service Professional Room service Fastest and helpful staff and service Other facilities is highly professional

I had a great room, 614, with nice Nile view. The value for money is very nice, room service, nice breakfast included. this was not my first stay. Also its very nice to walk in area on Zamalek island with his great villas en lovely houses. I really recommend this hotel to all of you!!

the location is very good the hotel is average in every thing its not bad but average i was there with my family during Jan.2018, the breakfast was nice the room was clean the staff was friendly but not professional the good think of this hotel is the location near to the Nile river and restaurant and famous Cairo coffee shops. finally it could be better.

This hotel is rather mediocre. To start, they don't clean the rooms well. The cleaning personnel made our beds, but nothing more. They let the trash in our rooms accumulate over several days. Also, they have no gym... so why do they lie and say they have one? (Their claim that they had a gym was a big reason why we chose this hotel)

The hotel should get 5*. The hotel design is perfect and we had the chance to get a free upgrade to our room. The receptionist is very helpful and we checked in less than 10 mins. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I have stayed several times in this hotel over the years. My recent stay can only be described as "average". First the good stuff: the restaurant on the top floor served me an excellent meal, which was just as well as I was the only client in there. Breakfast was a bit disappointing: instead of orange juice there was a sickly sweet syrup-based drink which was horrible. The bread rolls were dry and the coffee bitter. The cooking staff were very friendly, the serving staff very stressed, and there was an abundance of self-important "managers" who did little but strut around looking serious, hands behind their backs. The "Superior room" was comfortable and I had a nice view of the Nile but the a/c didn't work so I had to sleep with the window open so as to get some cool air. The constant honking from the street below and the calling to prayer at dawn meant that, despite the comfortable bed, sleep was difficult. I informed reception that the a/c needed fixing when I went out to work in the morning. When I returned it hadn't been fixed. I asked the receptionist "Why hasn't it been fixed ?" "Yes ?" "I asked for the a/c to be fixed and it hasn't been and there's been no explanation". "I will send the engineer". "When ? I want to go to bed !" "You wanta the room checker ?" "What ?" "You wanta the room checker ?" I had to give up and go to bed with the window open again. To sum up, the hotel is reasonably ok but I think the staff need to pull a finger out.

We stayed for four nights over the Christmas period. It makes a great base for exploring Cairo and the staff are helpful and friendly. The bar is small but well-known and popular. Rooms are clean and comfortable and Zimalek has lots going for it.

A group of us stayed at the Golden Tulip while in town for work. All things considering, it was quite a nice stay. We were out much of the days we were there but we enjoyed our time there. My room was large, but as for most hotels in Cairo, you could hear the honking 8 floors up. The breakfast options were solid and the bar attached to the hotel was great for intimate conversations. It took them awhile to finish my laundry but other than that the stay was comfortable and nice.
