The Arnarstapi Hotel is a group of small buildings each containing a row of 4 or 5 bedrooms. The ocean front rooms have floor to ceiling windows and a terrific view. This is a cute cottage located on the center of town. Right next to a tourist site. Not much to do in this small town but worth the stay.

Location was great. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Plenty of choices at the hotel for breakfast and dinner as well.
Beautiful property, stunning location. Very remote, and peacful. Daniel at the front desk is an asset to Fosshotel. He was super friendly and helpful with Northern Lights tips.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage which had views of the water. There was reception on site where drinks were available. The inside was nice and wooden and felt like cozy cabin. We were lucky to catch northern lights right outside our cottage.

The property has a common kitchen that connects all of the rooms. Unfortunately guest have access to the kitchen 24/7 and use it at all hours. To make matters worse, the doors to the rooms allow all of the sounds to the kitchen into your room. I also didn’t like the fact that the rooms were not “freshened” ...
