The Arnarstapi Hotel is a group of small buildings each containing a row of 4 or 5 bedrooms. The ocean front rooms have floor to ceiling windows and a terrific view. The hotel is modern, the small staff very friendly, and the food excellent. The location is beautiful. On the icy day of our visit, it was a three hour drive from Reykjavík.
Very new hotel, very clean very confortable and spacious room. I would definitely stay here again.
I love the style of the rooms. They are contemporary, clean, in the middle of nature and have a great view of the sea. Also very comfy. Arnarstapi is one of the stops if you are traveling the western Penninsula. It was the perfect place to spend the night, visit the next day and then continue to the other activities around the area. If we are back on that part of Iceland for sure we will be staying there again. They have a map on the front desk that points all the places you should visit on that area. And they have a very good buffet for breakfast.
