We stayed one week ago at this beautiful hotel, positioned in the center of Bucharest but still avoiding all the traffic noise! the rooms were very nice and spacious as well. Staff is one of the best I've encountered in Romania, very helpful. We had some problems getting to Romania and the staff were very prompt in replying. We'll return to Bucharest this winter and definitely this will be again our place to stay!
Super friendly staff in a great hotel with nice spatious rooms. Will definately stay there again. The staff was so attentive to ask me the evening before checkout if I wanted a coffee the next morning before leaving at 3 am.
Everything was just perfect, very central location. Great rooms, free valet parking, good breakfast. There was even a handy in the room with internet connection. We just loved hotel, and definitely come back.
This is some of the best service I've ever had in a hotel. Every single person was very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay and visit to the city enjoyable. The spa was pleasant, rooms very comfortable and quiet, and delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
I went for a romantic weekend break............. the hotel is beautiful and the staff were very friendly..........excepy for on the reception that would not lend us an extra umbrella as there was a flood alert that weekend..... Our suite was clean, we even had our sheets turned over with a chocolate on our pillows!!! Breakfast was always delicious and served with smiling staff. The hotel is within walking distance from the old town...but it is in a very calm part of the city. The Spa is a haven of relax after a day of walking....I loved the city and hotel ...hope to come back when the weather is better .
Great hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooms are big and clean. The hotel restaurant is a high priced compared to the city level - but the price is fair compared to the cooking quality. This was my 4th stay in Bucharest and Epoque is my one and only hotel in Bucharest.
New great feeling of the hotel and the rooms The social areas is not a 5 star quality No ambience great french restaurant though priced like in Paris and that makes me wonder very friendly staff and detail oriented Spa is new and has a great feeling of luxury Roomservice didn't work to well Extremely good location if you like 2 see Bucharest also by foot Taxis are cheap
Really liked the hotel overall. Nice staff, lovely room & the park nearby is very nice to walk around (lake, drink stands, etc...). Modern comfy room with many charging outlets. It was a 1 bed jr suite in a "L" shape, but note the bathroom was at the opposite end of the bedroom -- out of bed, thru the office, thru the sitting area, around the corner! Spa was nice & s good value, but not attended well for checkin (masseuse was also check in person)...i had to search for her to check in for my appt. Restaurant (the only one) was French -- expensive & not my preference, but I felt trapped (I wasnt interested in hoofing around at night alone searching for food), as there is no other option except your room minibar. So, buy food/snacks at the market beforehand if you need to. The breakfast buffet was nice, but on the Monday, was crowded so there wasnt enough seating. I had to wait for a table and didnt feel like I could sit for a leisurely cup of coffee as others were waiting. If posdible, wait until after the work rush (ie 9am). Weekends were much less crowded. Hotel "grounds" are non-existent, but the room was lovely (bed was super comfy). It is about 20-25 min walk to the old city...easily found but a bit of a schlepp.
Perfect hotel to stay for buiness and close to downtown. Very good services, great rooms, bed excellent. If you want to relax after hardwork you can go to the swimming Pool. About the restaurant, it's just great not because the chief is French and because I'm French but the products are great and so good cooking. Wines, you have a great choice with low prices and very good quality. For the breakfast, take the Bendicte Eggs, famous and good to start the day
Located in a quiet quarter in the center of town makes it a perfect point of departure to explore Bucharest. Friendly and efficient staff. I would like to especially mention the rich and tasty breakfast.
