This was a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean with good amenities. The breakfast was excellent, we will definitely stop again. Staff were extremely friendly and organised taxi to take us to station. A good left luggage and an excellent trip.

This hotel is an amazing value for what you receive. It is a top notch hotel on a quiet street just around the corner from the city center. I have never been to such a beautiful city, so charming with the canals, and amazing food, waffles, chocolate and all types of excellent cuisine!

Lovely stay in a very friendly hotel great room on the top floor .....very big........ great shower breakfast was ok but not the best. Would definitely stay here again as it was in a good location just off the main square..... very friendly staff and lovely and clean

We stayed at the Hotel Aragon towards the end of September and were very impressed with the condition and appearance of the hotel. We opted for on-site parking which was tremendously convenient but please, please, please believe the warnings of travellers about the width of the entrance to the parking area; if you have a full size car I would not hazard it and in any event make sure you fold in your side view mirrors - it is REALLY narrow!!!!! In any event, we were upgraded to a quad from a triple room and were very impressed with the quality and appearance of the room. The set up was a bit awkward requiring the second couple to traverse through the main bedroom to access the washroom which had an opaque glass door which lit up like the Las Vegas strip when the bathroom was in use - very odd and uncomfortable for all involved. The hotel itself is only a five minute easy walk from the Markt square and The Belfry and is perfect for people who cannot or do not wish to walk far. The beds are great although they are singles pushed together which is quite common in Europe. Also, there are no screens on the windows and as a previous reviewer wrote we did have a few mosquitoes in the room but being from Canada we know how to deal with them and they were quickly and easily dispatched. Of far greater concern was the presence of an unpleasant odour which we eventually traced to the drain pipes in the bathroom. They emitted a smell of "swamp gas" not unlike that of a strong perm chemical. By the time we figured out what was going on we were into our last night and resolved t bring that issue to the attention of the front desk at check out along with the very slow draining shower but alas I was never asked if there were any concerns or problems with the room by the front desk agent and she did not appear to care a great deal about it so I am reporting it here. Pity because otherwise the hotel, room and location are very good indeed. Breakfast is also very indulgent and competitively priced for Bruges. It offers cheeses, cold cuts, bacon, sausages, eggs, a variety of breads, fresh fruits, cereals, etc and we were glad to have taken that option. As I alluded to, service is very professional but cool (think of a Swiss maitre'd at a 4 star restaurant). In short the Hotel Aragon offers a great deal of amenities foremost being location and comfort but it does have some shortcomings which a little bit more of a personal touch could easily address.

We are just back after spending 5 lovely days in the gorgeous city of Brugge. Our stay was made more enjoyable by staying in this fantastically situated hotel just around corner of market area. Our room was top floor in annexe just on next street from main hotel. Room was spacious clean and very quiet. Used Hotel for breakfast and it was both plentiful and tasty with very pleasant service. We also came back for a nightcap in the lounge which the reception girls served your drinks and a nice pleasant end to our day. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it ticks all the boxes for our needs. Thanks to all Ian & Mandy

This refurbished hotel has a great position, with well appointed rooms and comfortable beds. Everything one wants for a short stay. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful; an excellent breakfast.

We were given a warm welcome with plenty of helpful information. Lovely room, newly refurbished, tea and coffee making in room. Nice toiletries, good shower. Super breakfast selection very pleasant staff. Reception very helpful with restaurants, map and guides. Train timetables, umbrellas. So convenient for all you want in Bruges.

Got bitten but what seemed to be bed bugs when I woke up. Fooled into thinking I was given a double bed only to find myself falling between 2 single beds squashed together hidden by the sheets and duvet. Checked in around 3pm and went out during the day. Came back and then went for dinner and drinks, returned around 2am to go to sleep. Woke up around 4am as the beds started to separate. Reported this in the morning upon check out only to be told I should have told them at 4am and they would have done something about it, although on check in I was told the hotel is full. On top of this the Manager Miguel had the cheek to tell me that this is how things are done in Bruges and everyone prefers 2 singles bed put together and no one wants a double bed. No refund offered as apparently this is my fault.

This hotel was perfect for us. Booked a family room as there was 3 adults. The family rooms are round the corner in another building, not a problem at all. Large room with well equipped kitchen, which was a bonus. Comfy beds and double sofa bed. Excellent quality bed linen too. Tv, safe, fridge x 2, oven, kettle, coffee machine, plates and cutlery if needed. Lovely bathroom with double sink, bath and overhead shower.Nice touch with shampoo/conditioner, soap, moisturiser and shower caps. Heating/air con if needed. Could do with a bigger wardrobe for 3 adults but we managed. Breakfast was in the main hotel and lovely, good selection of cold and hot food and drinks. Waiting staff was lovely and remembered our room number and 'tea' order after day one. Reception was manned 24hrs and very friendly and attentive. Gave maps and list of recommended restaurants on arrival. Called taxi when we needed. They have a small 'bar' between 6pm-11pm serviced by reception staff too. Only downside was you cant get a cuppa or drink outside of those times from the 'bar'. The location of the hotel was with in a few minutes walk of the Market square with all its bars restaurants and shops as well as some amazing architecture and horse and carriage rides around the town. Free wifi in the hotel and rooms too. No problems, No issues and No complaints from us. We will be back !

Four of us stayed for a two day break at this hotel which is just five minutes walk from the main square, our friends booked this stayting that we required a room for a disable person. On arriving the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room on the second floor was very clean and had a wet room for my wife, our bed that was supposed to be a double was two singles pushed together although this did not spoil our stay. Breakfast was excellent consisting of many choices of hot and cold buffet service. We had reserved hotel parking at the rear of the hotel which you enter via a archway but don't bring a large vehicle as space is very tight, ( there is a charge for hotel parking ) So to sum up this hotel, very clean and staff friendly and helpful, there is no bar as such, but a good selection of drinks in the small seating area served by reception staff.
