It's probably a 3-star place. The room was clean and had all of the essentials except internet. Unfortunately, the internet bandwidth is a disaster here. When fully connected to the WiFi, it would take several minutes to load emails let alone browsing simple webpages or apps. You can't do any work or planning here because the internet is so bad. A shame really, because everything else was fine. My brief interactions with the staff were pleasant. They were very accommodating of my late night arrival!
Poor overall experience. The room was opposite the VERY BUSY and VERY NOISY Bussell Highway - hardly a “relaxing” getaway with the constant hum of cars and cars screeching to exit turns nearby. The room itself was fine albeit dared very 1990s in Style. The promised “outdoor patio” does not exist. The fridge is really noisy. The furniture was worn with flecks coming off. The switches weren’t properly santized per COVID protocols the resort says it does. The bathroom was dirty with clear smear marks, fungus / mould growth. There are various chips and stains across the walls etc. avoid this property at all costs.
Good value - especially by Australian standards. Good location, facilities, and room. Recommended hotel.
