Pleasant staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Good ensuite. Compact room, fine for single occupation, would be cramped for two. May be other rooms cater for two guests. Food was good. As property is situated on a main road which made locating it easy, some heavy traffic noise at times. Overall a pleasant stay and would book again.

Being Coeliac was really pleased with the GF options on the menu and even had a GF ale on draft at the bar, made a nice change from Cider. Stayed at 4 different places during our walking holiday and this was our favourite 🙂👍

We enjoyed a brief one night stay at the Temple Inn. Rooms are small but functional and aside a lightbulb being out, everything was fine. The pub itself where we eat and breakfasted was excellent the home cooked food both dinner and breakfast was excellent, the staff were attentive and engaging and we enjoyed the food greatly. This is the hotel with the worst service attitude I have ever stayed in. Due to the mistake of the hotel, they gave me the wrong room. The manager not only didn't change it for me, but also had a very bad attitude. The room is very old and simple, and there is a small dirty place in my life.
