We stayed here as a group of four and had a really lovely time. The location is absolutely beautiful,set in a peaceful rural village surrounded by nature, with a river and charming bridges nearby. It felt very relaxing, yet it was still only about 15–20 minutes from Bristol, which made it perfect for a half day trip into the city. It’s also not far from the Cotswolds, which is a great bonus for exploring the area.The accommodation itself was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the garden area, having a barbecue and outdoor space really made the stay more enjoyable.There were just a couple of small things that could be improved. The mattress was quite soft and not very comfortable for us, and there wasn’t a frying pan in the kitchen, which would have been useful.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway close to Bristol.

Wow, what can I say we had the most fantastic few days in this peaceful little heaven on the outskirts of Bristol. We had a bit of confusion around the booking as we thought we'd booked the Cabana but it turned out it was booked so we got the Knapsack instead. However the communication with the hosts was excellent and they put us at ease. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival the cabin had everything we could wish for. We made it home for the weekend and cooked and barbecued and made the most of the hot tub too. What a fabulous stay, we did have to wash cups/glasses etc before use but that was not an issue as I would do that going most places anyway. We will definitely look to stay here again when we're next in the area. Thank you we had such a relaxing time and loved listening to the birds in the trees

Perfect little get away!

Thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay soooo much! We are a bunch of six ladies (childhood friends) having a long over due catchup weekend! All we wanted was a hot tub so we booked this little getaway. They were so accommodating, a welcome bottle of procesco waiting for us, chocolates, hot chocolate, tea and coffee as well as having a box of thing in the cabin in case you forgot them, like paracetamol and new toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner which we thought was just a lovely touch! The hot tub was gorgeous, hot and clean. We spent more time in the hot tub then anything else. John was very lovely and let us stay past check out so we could spend more time in the lovely hot tub before the drives/ trains back. We hope to return one day when we can all find another weekend we are all free!

Disappointed

We only really booked this place for the hot tub which ended up not working after the first night. Then it was very difficult to get a hold of the property manager to explain the problem and to get them over to fix it which never happened.

Nice compact property

Everything was great! The only point to flag was the property is advertised as 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This is a stretch, as one bedroom is the sofa bed in the lounge, plus I'm not sure how they get 3 bathrooms, as it's simply one shower and one toilet. The hot tub was excellent.

I stayed with friends and had a fantastic time. The hosts were very welcoming and communicated well throughout the stay. The outdoor area was also fantastic - great for having a BBQ and time in the hot tub!

Perfect getaway

My other half and I stayed here for his surprise 30th birthday getaway. The hosts were nothing but amazing, putting decorations up and giving him a birthday card, welcomed with Prosecco on ice and a hot tub ready to go! We also had to check in early due to plans, and this seemed like no issue. I love how well they’ve used the space in this cabin! Would recommend to everyone and anyone!

Fantastic Property

We had a lovely stay and was a free upgrade,bathrooms are a little dated but the rest of the house is great, very well equipped and lovely owners. Hot tub was great too. There was very welcomed lovely added extras too 🙂 .

We have just returned from a lovely weekend away at The Cabana. John and Angie are fantastic hosts and have created a lovely little getaway house with a fantastic hot tub and bbq. the house is compact but perfected designed and includes everything you could need in a house to make your stay comfortable. When we arrived we were created the a bottle of chilled prosecco, full bowl of fresh fruit, bowl of chocolates for the kids and bottled water. There were plenty of towels, tea towels and bedding. The house is in a lovely little village and well located between Bristol and the Cotswolds. Thanks John and Angie, we will be back!

Lovely little break in a beautiful lodge

From booking and confirming to the day we left Ang and Jon were amazing, very attentive. Beautiful cottage very clean and lovely finishing touches. They even put up birthday banners and a bottle of bubbly. We will definitely be coming back and have recommended it to all of our friends.

Amazing birthday stay.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 grandchildren stayed at the Cabana Lodge for 3 days for my wife's birthday. We all had an amazing time and many thanks to the owners John and Angie for thinking of everything to include in the lodge. Also thanks for the Prosecco, chocolates and fresh fruit. Hot tub was excellent and Gas BBQ also. Will definitely be back in the future.
