The fire alarm went off four times during the night. The first time was for 45 minutes even though there is onsite staff (who slept through the alarm). My bathroom had significant mold and mildew in both the shower and general bathroom area. The staff was nice but that didn’t make up for the other deficiencies.

Location was excellent, right off James Street, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, grocery stores nearby. Also close to the beach promenade and Palace Pier. The hotel is on the older side, but still very comfortable, good hot water, great mattress. Owner Claudia was always available to answer questions and gove recommendations. Thanks for helping me with my suitcase!

Yes shops, bars, restaurants nearby, the room clean with all the facilities you would require from iron & ironing board, plenty tea/coffee, water shower gel, shampoo. Also fast wifi i was in the small double which was so peaceful and hardly heard any noise from others at the property. Charlotte was lovely and wouldn't hesitate in booking here if im in the area again.
