Water pressure in Jacuzzi was extremely low so it was more of a warm bath. Room was very cold as heating has not been turned on mid September, however we were offered a portable heater and the heating was turned on. Room was disappointingly small. Great Choices for breakfast and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Eat in the restaurant on Thursday evening the special was excellent we were very impressed with the service our waiter customer service was extremely good 10/10

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and found the communal areas — reception, bar, and dining room — to be pleasant and well-presented. However, our experience with the room was disappointing. We booked a double room, which was very small and in need of an update. While the curtains, carpet, wallpaper, and general cleanliness were good, the furniture was overly large for the space and looked dated. The bathroom was especially tired, with a very weak shower over a high-sided bath. The bath was slippery to stand in, and the rounded base made it difficult to balance. The bathroom floor was damaged and became slippery when wet, making it hazardous. It would be very difficult for anyone with limited mobility to shower safely. There was also a persistent mechanical noise in the room — a loud sound every four minutes, like a coffee machine. We initially thought it was the air conditioning, but it continued even when the unit was off, making it hard to sleep. Floorboards in our room and above were also extremely squeaky, adding further disturbance. Breakfast, at £17.50 per person, was poor value. There was no fruit salad or crusty bread, and the hot buffet kept running out. One guest had to wait over 30 minutes for scrambled eggs to be replenished. Overall, we felt the room was overpriced given the quality and condition. The noise issues, tired bathroom, and underwhelming breakfast left us disappointed, and we honestly wish we had chosen somewhere else to stay.

Hotel was conveniently located and a good standard of cleanliness. Room was small but comfortable. Service from the operations manager was exceptional - very friendly and attentive, thank you. My only gripe would be with the cost of parking as we booked through an operator. A further £24 to park for two days is a bit steep considering the cost of the room and other services.
