Both the rooms and common areas are stylish and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They take the role of host very seriously and made me feel welcome. The only issue I had with my stay is that the pillows were cheap and lumpy.

Quiet, great location...utterly clean, cozy and friendly.

Very convienent hotel to Harvard Square. Loved the shower!

Hotel exceeded expectations, easy check in. Staff went out of their way to accomadate my wife and I for our anniversary.

I enjoyed my stay at Veritas. The service/staff was friendly and very helpful. Just missed having access to a fitness center and wasn't interested in paying $14 a day for that.

The hotel was just perfect! The staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. The room was very tasteful, the bedding yummy comfortable, and quiet. There is a yoga studio right across the street which for me was also perfect. The lobby was rich and modern yet cozy and inviting.

My fiance and I had a lovely overnight stay at Hotel Veritas. Cute, comfortable, clean, and classy. The staff was very helpful and kind. Conveniently close to downtown Cambridge and public transportation into Boston. Only note for future guests: All street parking near hotel is metered and the only parking option at the hotel is Valet ($34,) so on our next stay we will likely take the train instead of driving up.

Close to the downtown Cambridge and Havard U. 5 min walk to metro station and nice restaurants nearby. Room is clean and new.

No complaints other than small *room (for a couple) and noise coming from the street (Remington St). *We had a standard double Great location and very helpful staff. Free bottled water and bottled juice, as well as espresso available in the lobby is a great touch.

No complaints really -- the staff was great; the rooms were a bit small, but comfortable; the bathrooms have heated tile floors; and it's close to the Yard. Nothing stand out, but nothing problemmatic either.

Tiny room, but clean, comfy and quaint. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of restaurant service. If they had a breakfast in the morning this place would be even better.

Great location, beautiful and immaculate room, helpful and courteous staff, but the room was so cramped. There was literally no room for 2 people to place suitcases without them being in the way. Pluses: one of the best showers I've been in; lots of accessible plugs for charging devices; very quiet; convenient location. Minuses: gave us a personalized welcome letter at check-in, but the letter extolled the virtues of the cocktail lounge in the lobby which we couldn't find because they had temporarily lost the liquor license; queen not king bed because no room for one.

Spent two weekend nights while visiting Cambridge for a wedding. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of Harvard Sq and food/services. The hotel bridges between a kind of B+B and a boutique hotel. The hotel occupies a converted historic house and was well conceived given the space constraints of squeezing a hotel into a house. The hotel lobby is well designed, intimate and doubles as the lounge and the concierge. In that sense it feels more like a living room than a hotel lobby. The rooms are equally intimate. We stayed in a petite queen which while tastefully designed we discovered is a euphemism for minuscule full. The queen is more like a full and it occupied the entire room. There is barely room to walk around the bed so anything more than a couple of carry on suitcases would have become impossibly cumbersome. The bathroom was simple, but very clean and nice with a generous shower. While the internet worked perfectly, there was no space to work in the room. I am told there is a business center in the hotel (which I did not visit) and I suppose one could have set up their laptop in the lobby/lounge. There was no space for a mini-bar in the room. The hotel compensates by providing 24 hour complimentary coffee/tea/juice/water refreshments in the lobby which was actually very nice. The staff was friendly enough but no frills. This hotel is perfect for a short stay. Compared to what was available in Cambridge over the weekend, this was great value. We would stay again.

Very good location. Very good comfortable room. Not inexpensive.

-The petite queen room was small but clean and elegant. Despite having a small bedroom area the bathroom was decently sized. Unless you're planning to lounge around in your room all day I'd say it served it's purpose and still felt comfortable. -Staff was friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the complementary beverages and snacks such as tortas and chocolates. -Great location with a short 5 min walk to the T and the hustle and bustle of Harvard Square. -Felt safe in the neighborhood even at night. There were some homeless people in the area, for full disclosure. -Given its location it was noisy even at night. Garbage trucks super early AM, the rumble of the T, frat parties. It wasn't terrible but could be tough for light sleepers.

Hotel veritas is a very nice boutique hotel. Great location near Harvard square close to many restaurants and shops. The rooms were quite small but comfortable and well-appointed, but more like a European hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Great coffee machine in the lobby.

I had a great experience with Hotel Veritas. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities (free wi-fi, complimentary business center and complimentary sodas/waters/juices/coffees) were great, and the location was just a short walk from the Harvard Square T stop. The rooms are a bit small, but if you're really just using the room to sleep and get ready, not a problem. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and I'll definitely return.

Charming hotel in the heart of Harvard Square. A great place to stay when visiting Cambridge, and also a short ride to Boston.

Staff very helpful. Complimentary WIFI, bottled water, coffee, tea, juices, sodas. Room on the small side, but very nice. A chair in the room would have been nice, but the ottoman under the desk served the purpose. Loved the iHome substitute for a clock!

Pros: excellent location, well-kept, very comfortable bed. Cons: very small room, expensive (though not out of line with the generally high prices in Cambridge).
