Room was clean and properly stocked, staff was friendly, they have a pretty good breakfast for a cheap(ish) motel with coffee, toasted bread-type products, waffles, cereal and the like available. Great hospitality from the proprietors, who are there to greet you & make you comfortable, from the home-cooked breakfast recipes to suggestions of local activities. Had a great experience at this hotel. We stayed just 1 night in order to have a full vacation day in Maine and it kicked our trip off just right. Perfect for people and pets. Wonderful staff, lead by a terrific GM. 2 bedroom suite perfect for us; clean room; supplied well with pots and cooking utensils for some unplanned meal prep. Easy distance to Sprague's in Wiscasset for our favorite lobster rolls. A very nice complimentary breakfast (far superior to the others I have had). We will be back!
Room was clean and properly stocked, staff was friendly, they have a pretty good breakfast for a cheap(ish) motel with coffee, toasted bread-type products, waffles, cereal and the like available. My only complaint was that my room was RIGHT on the road, this place has a sorta U shaped part with a leg that comes off one end and along the road, which was where I was. Kinda noisy, but I didn't hear anything actually IN the room, which was plenty quiet.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Flagship Inn. It's one of the best "budget" hotels I have stayed in. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean. Breakfast was good also. I would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful facility -- beds were a bit too soft, though.
