I can’t review because I didn’t stay here. I don’t know if the room was clean, or if the staff was friendly as we never checked in. When we drove up, there were people who appeared to be transients hanging around, the entire property was rundown looking. We chose to find other accommodations for the night.

The carpets were so dirty that you could not take your shoes off, and if you did your white socks turned black. The weather was very cold, and the only day that the maid cleaned our room, she opened the windows with not knowing what time we would return. The noise and verbage in the next room was awful, but then came the police raid. We checked out a day early with no refund, just to get away. This is not a place I would return for any reason.

This was one of the worst experiences that we have ever had. It was not worth the price[...]. The room was tiny with a 7 foot ceiling. There was only a standup shower, no tub. The room did not match the pictures or discriptions that were shown online. There was no WIFI as advertised. The manager kept telling us that the wireless modem was working. We could only get an unsecured connection from another local business. The cable channels did not match the listings or the autoprogramed titles on the TV screen. The furniture was old and worn. We stayed two nights and although they did change the towels they did not make the bed. The staff was very polite but they had difficulty understanding and speaking english. It made us wonder if this was the room that was set aside to be used for the discounted rates. The Choice Hotel line needs to seriously check out this franchise because it could easily give them and the Rodeway Inn franchise a bad reputation.

Room was clean and properly stocked, staff was friendly, they have a pretty good breakfast for a cheap(ish) motel with coffee, toasted bread-type products, waffles, cereal and the like available. My only complaint was that my room was RIGHT on the road, this place has a sorta U shaped part with a leg that comes off one end and along the road, which was where I was. Kinda noisy, but I didn't hear anything actually IN the room, which was plenty quiet.

We got the older part of the motel for the price we wanted to pay. this included matteress that should be changed and a shower system that fluxed when someone flushed a toliet or turned on the facuet(in another motel room)

Our family needed a comfortable place to stay for a quick overnight. At the discount price that we paid we were not expecting some of the little touches that we found. OK, so it's kind of a busy(yet convenient)location right on a main road, but the room was sufficient and had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and ironing board and iron. This may have been an upgrade because of a slight mix-up, in that we arrived in the PM to find that the room assigned to us was not made up. As soon as we mentioned this to the front desk, we were immediately given new accommodations. Upon check out, we were able to visit the small breakfast area in the lobby to fuel up with coffee and a bagel. All in all, a very good value.

The Rodeway Inn is affordable, well-situated, and clean. Its location isn't scenic by any means, the area surrounding the are being very "stripmall-ish," but the motel is just minutes away from the very scenic historic Bath Downtown. And, if one feels like a slightly longer drive, take a left outside the motel's door, and enjoy a beautiful 25 minute drive to spectacular Bailey Island. I strogly recommend the Rodeside Inn for affordable and clean motel accomodation.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you had the wrong impression of our hotel. The people you saw were actually the Cumberland farms construction crew staying here. I hope you will give us another chance the next time you are in town. Have a wonderful summer!
