Days Inn - Brunswick Bath Area

The room was ok, but needed lighting & there were not enough electrical outlets for portable devices. The bathroom was very poorly lit & made getting ready a bit difficult.

In the room we smelled some mold. The free breakfast was very small.

Nice place for the money. farther than I thought from the Thruway. Passed several motels on the way to this one. Comfortable beds though

Staff were friendly, good location easy to get to downtown Brunswick, comfortable place.

We were surprised to find this hotel had everything we needed - even a small but present exercise room with treadmills and bike. Perfect location for our shopping expeditions into Freeport. Beds were amazingly comfortable and I slept better than I do at home. Breakfast had everything one needs. The breakfast area was a bit tight.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel as a quick overnight stay so that we would have easy access to Popham Beach State Park the next day. We had heard bad things about Days Inns before, so we didn't know quite what to expect going in to this; however, we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The people at the front desk were very personable and friendly both during check in and check out. The room was a good size, and everything was nice and clean. Also, the tv was surprisingly nice (LG flatscreen). Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good, with scrambled eggs, cereal, bagels, danishes, waffles, etc available. The only two reasons that I didn't rate this place as 4 stars are that: 1. Breakfast ran out while we were there and was slow to be replaced. 2. We had booked a non-smoking room but, when we got there, the only rooms available of any kind were smoking. We were both quite annoyed by this seeing as we would have made other accommodations had we known beforehand. When we got to the room the smell was quite strong. At first it was overpowering, but we got used to it. We would definitely stay in this hotel again, as long as they actually informed their customers beforehand that they weren't guaranteed a non-smoking room. I would recommend that, if a non-smoking room is important to you, you call and make sure that you will be given one upon arrival.

Excellent location just off my route to Southport. Unfortunately Orblitz had put me in a smoking room. and the hotel staff claimed they couldn't change it. Bed was comfortable - modern TV but that underlying smoke smell was all pervading. I slept OK with the window open all night. Breakfast was free and plentiful good fuel for the rest of the day.

We only spent a night at the hotel after a day filled with a lot of physical exertion and it was a welcome zone of comfort. We were a party of four in one room with 2 queen beds and everything was quite comfortable. Would appreciate if they had locks for the bathroom though. And more shampoo.

I picked Day's Inn because I've had good experience at other locations in New England. The Brunswick franchise wasn't anything fancy, but it was located very close to a shopping center with restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The TV and Wi-FI reception were excellent. I would go back without hesitation.

I am a little confused about charges,I paid $239.59 when I made reservation. When I closed out on Monday morning it was $50.00 less $189.00. They never gave me new towels for other 2 days. I was very satisfied for the most part, nut couldn't. get my reward points either.

We were pleased with the room - was clean, good shower, nicely sized refrigerator, and decent wifi. Location to get to nearby cities was nice and a good biking path is under a mile away. The only criticism I have was the office staff wasn't particularly quick or friendly. Not a big issue; just worthy to note.

For a 2 star hotel, this was clean, staff was helpful and the breakfast was substantial

The Days Inn in Brunswick Maine was clean, the room was nice, the beds were very comfortable. Free breakfast was there for those who wanted it. The staff was very cordial and helpful. It is very close to Maine St. in Brunswick where there are lots of really nice shops and restaurants. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is on a budget.

We came up for a wedding and we did not expect much for the price, but the service was great, the room very clean and the continental breakfast was a better selection than most. Loved the "make your own Belgian waffles!"

Could have been powdered creamer in rooms for coffee Disappointed with breakfast service, but for the price, it was a pleasant stay

The hotel was the classic you get what you pay for - the rate was very low, the rooms seemed old. They had no heat on in the rooms so when we got in there it was absolutely frigid (in April). Once the heat got going it was okay, although the heater was very loud. Seemed like paper-thin walls, could hear people in the hallway late at night/very early in morning. It was clean, though.

Okay for the price. Was glad I checked in when I did because the person checking in after me was given a smoking room instead of non-smoking and they were booked solid. Also glad we had arranged breakfast elsewhere because the only thing really edible there was the coffee.

everything was pretty good

The check-in was quick, the desk attendant was friendly, the room was decent size. One bedside lamp was missing the light bulb, one other lamp had a burnt out bulb. These were replaced after notifying the desk. The bed was very comfortable. The towels were terrible. They felt like sandpaper & were very thin. The breakfast area was poorly maintained. There were no spoons, knives, napkins, or plates. We hunted through the drawers until we found what we needed. We usually try to avoid Days Inn, but this one was convenient & reasonably priced.

I was pleasently surprised the rooms cleanlyness and helpful staff. I questioned the towels after a shower and they seemd badly stained and iffy to use. If it wasn't for the sent of clorine from the towels I would have left still wet. From a great experience to this made me think, how would I rate it? 3 stars for the bed and room cleanlyness and a 0 for the towels.
