Bienvenido a la cabaña de Mimi! Esta encantadora cabaña de 4 dormitorios se encuentra entre Boone y Blowing Rock, a solo minutos de la ciudad y todas las atracciones locales. Si está buscando una cabaña rústica que ofrece privacidad y todas las comodidades que pueda imaginar, ¡no necesita buscar más!

El nivel principal cuenta con una amplia sala de estar, cocina y el dormitorio principal. El salón tiene una chimenea de gas y muebles acogedores. La cocina, completa con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, está completamente equipada con todo lo necesario para cocinar una deliciosa comida casera. Hay una mesa de comedor con capacidad para 6 y 3 asientos más en el bar. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size, baño completo y un televisor de pantalla plana conectado a un Roku. Arriba, encontrará dos habitaciones queen adicionales con baño compartido. En el loft de arriba hay una mesa de tejo y una mesa de futbolín para el entretenimiento de un día lluvioso.

En la planta baja hay otro dormitorio con dos camas individuales y baño completo. ¡También en este nivel hay una segunda sala de estar con dos sofás y un televisor de pantalla plana de 65 "conectado a un sistema de sonido envolvente Sonos, reproductor de Blu-Ray y Playstation 4! Esta área es el lugar perfecto para que los niños pasen el rato o para una noche de cine familiar. Afuera, en la terraza, puede relajarse en la bañera de hidromasaje de 4 plazas después de un largo día de turismo o senderismo por los maravillosos senderos de todo el país. También hay una parrilla de gas para uso de los huéspedes en la terraza.

We loved Mimi’s cottage! The layout was great and the location was super convenient! My 5 year old loved the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Fabulous stay!

A group of friends and I LOVED our time at Mimi's Cottage. The cabin was adorable and spacious - we were pleasantly surprised that it even was decorated for the Holidays. Checking in and out was very smooth, and we love how close the property is to downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. Definitely recommend 4WD in winter months, as the hosts recommended as well!

Moved our son into App State. Mimi's Cottage was in the perfect location. Cozy, clean and plenty of space. Recommend to anyone looking for a mountain getaway.

Great rental! Great for pets!

Mimi’s Cottage was great! Very quiet neighborhood that was private. Close proximity to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Felt very comfortable walking the dogs in the neighborhood and the gated deck was perfect for them as well! Home was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin!

We had a lovely time at Mimis cottage! Experienced an ice storm our first night which kept us indoors a lot and the views were still enjoyable from inside. The tv room in the basement was enjoyed nightly with family movie nights. All meals were cooked/prepared at the house and the kitchen had it all. Great place!

Wonderful mountain weekend

We really enjoyed our stay! Mimi’s Cottage was clean and delivered an excellent experience. The only area for concern was the lack of heat for the bottom floor. One of our couples was unable to come so it worked out but with no heat for the 4th BR we will have to find another house next year. A TV in the living room would also be a nice addition. We froze when we did watch a ballgame downstairs. But we still had a great time!

Great cabin, great amenities, great location

We had a great weekend in the mountains with our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids. The cabin is very well appointed and well laid out to accommodate all of us. The grandkids enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table and big screen TV. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, etc.. if you want to stay in and prepare meals. Had both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. The dining room table was perfect for board games. We stayed in mid-December and the Christmas tree and decorations were a pleasant surprise. The cabin is located within an easy drive to downtown Boone (shopping and restaurants!). Be advised, the road up is steep and narrow - we brought tire chains in case, but thankfully didn't need them. We were a little disappointed in the level of cleanliness, but have addressed this with the management company as its their responsibility. The twin bed mattresses were really uncomfortable and should be replaced. Also, the cabin is a little smaller than the impression you get from the pictures, but it worked out fine for the 6 of us.

Spring Break at Mimi’s Cabinet

Wonderful location for skiing, snowboarding, doing tourist things, and just hanging out! Nice furnace in the front room is cozy but parents of small toddlers need to bring a gate to keep little ones at a social distance- no harm just preventative. Love the deck, hot tub etc- just perfect for viewing deer, rabbits and occasional bear traveling by. Think we will come back again! Thanks for the restful week!

not ready for winter

the roads wasn't clean from the snow and neither the driveway. we didn't find the remotes for the tv's, the rooms were really small. house size not big enough for 8 ppl. and other things we didn't enjoy.

Recent stay

While the property was beautiful, the kitchen counter tops were dirty and had bugs on them. I was disappointed only 1 wash cloth and 1 towel were available per guest. I understand we need to do laundry, when on vacation you don’t want to have to do that every day. Recommend adding additional towels and washcloths. Also washing detergent would have been nice. I have stayed at other cabins and all laundry supplies were provided. The location is great and I would stay again. Just a couple of things that would make the stays a little less inconvenient. Thanks

Great Family home

Although we had a minor panic attack everytime we parked down the slope and had to back out (because we had 2 cars we couldn't turn around) onto mountain road, we loved this house. close to everything, luckily no snow on mountain so our minivan was fine, otherwise 4x4 needed.
